En la universidad estudié arte y diseño de interiores en la Universidad de Minnesota y la Universidad de Maryland. La capacitación que recibí en color, forma y textura se aplica fácilmente al diseño de joyas.
Siempre me han encantado las joyas. Trabajo como compradora de joyas y estilista para una boutique de moda local en Minneapolis, Minnesota; y he estado creando mis propias piezas durante más de 20 años.
Me encanta viajar, y tengo la suerte de haber visto algunos lugares muy interesantes: Marruecos, Indonesia, Tailandia, India y muchas partes de Europa y América Central. Mientras viajo colecciono joyas de todo el mundo para exhibirlas como arte en mi hogar. Stone and Stem combina mi amor por los estilos globales y étnicos con materiales naturales. Piedras, madera, perlas, cuero y metales se combinan para crear piezas únicas. Cada pieza está hecha a mano, la mayoría son únicas, todas son únicas.

In college I studied art and interior design at the University of Minnesota and the University of Maryland. The training I received in color, form and texture applies readily to jewelry design.
I have always loved jewelry. I work as a jewelry buyer and stylist for a local fashion boutique in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and have been creating my own pieces for over 20 years.
I love to travel, and am fortunate to have seen some very interesting places: Morocco, Indonesia, Thailand, India and many parts of Europe and Central America. As I travel I collect jewerly from around the world to display as art in my home. Stone and Stem combines my love of global and ethnic styles with natural materials. Stones, wood, pearls, leather, and metals combine to create unique pieces. Each piece is handmade, most are one of a kind, all are unique.
