Announcement    When I was growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, I would take my little 110 Camera, and decorate the cats , alongside cowboy hats and blankets and snap their photos. They always put up with me, better than the people I tried to order around in the same manner. Across the dinner table, I would ask my grandmother Lily question after question about our family and who they were, where did they come from? She was always patient, explaining to me easily the stories of her life. Some beautiful, some painful. After receiving a degree in theatre, from Baylor University, I lived out my twenties in a flurry as one does in cities like New York, Los Angeles and Dallas, before I settled down with my songwriter husband in Nashville in 2006. I had begun my journey in photography shortly before, and now fourteen years later with three girls of my own, we are living in Cincinnati, Ohio, a city I knew nothing about, but grow to love more and more every day, for it's art and culture and history and architecture. I am happy to say, I continue to find great joy in hearing stories and preserving them. In this group of images, you will find ones like Caddo Lake that go back to 2005, and some taken just this year. I hope you get caught up in the image you purchase and find yourself getting lost in it, as you pass by it on the wall or see it on your computer screen. I wish you all peace and love,

I love to tell stories

It seems like I have a story for everything..LOL I was a Theatre major at Baylor University and learned there that I was an artist, I'd found my tribe and I was never turning back or apologizing for it. I discovered photography years ago and starting taking portraits of my students. I was teaching English and Theatre at the time. I love to incorporate a theme into my personal projects and in the near future you'll be able to purchase a new fairytale series I've created as well as photos of the South, New Orleans, Savannah, Charleston and Atlanta as well as good old Music City. Some of my products are posters, some are prints, some are greeting cards. I can also have images mounted on canvas or mat board or framed as well. I have loved many of the beautiful handmade paper products on Etsy and use them today for my photography business, so I look forward to becoming a part of the creative fabric that Etsy provides to the world.

All my best,
Robin
