Announcement    When I was growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, I would take my little 110 Camera, and decorate the cats , alongside cowboy hats and blankets and snap their photos. They always put up with me, better than the people I tried to order around in the same manner. Across the dinner table, I would ask my grandmother Lily question after question about our family and who they were, where did they come from? She was always patient, explaining to me easily the stories of her life. Some beautiful, some painful. After receiving a degree in theatre, from Baylor University, I lived out my twenties in a flurry as one does in cities like New York, Los Angeles and Dallas, before I settled down with my songwriter husband in Nashville in 2006. I had begun my journey in photography shortly before, and now fourteen years later with three girls of my own, we are living in Cincinnati, Ohio, a city I knew nothing about, but grow to love more and more every day, for it's art and culture and history and architecture. I am happy to say, I continue to find great joy in hearing stories and preserving them. In this group of images, you will find ones like Caddo Lake that go back to 2005, and some taken just this year. I hope you get caught up in the image you purchase and find yourself getting lost in it, as you pass by it on the wall or see it on your computer screen. I wish you all peace and love,

Hi! I am a native Texan living in East Nashville, TN and I love it. Love spending time with my family, traveling and creating art through photography, singing and writing. I am the mom to three gorgeous young humans, in the pic above. XOXO
