Announcement   Hiya everybody!
I know I've been absent recently but I have relaunched my page with my current work, hope you like the new stuff! This last year has been less then awesome and I've been forced to stop my woodworking but I've started developing my latest creations.

Everything started with the personification of my disease Multiple Sclerosis and that spawned a character I named Myl (for the myelin sheathing that MS effects). After making scary work that not even my mother enjoyed I started on all of Myls friends and to everyone relief they're a much more fun and friendly gang.

These guys have been proper life savers and I hope they become even more important to me as I move forward. I hope you like them too!

Currently Axon the Plentiful is my main dude but there are more friends of Myl available... Nore the Despondent is named after Norepinephrine and is a sad sack. Felo d'Se is named after a old medical/legal term for suicide and he's a proper bastard.

I'll be updating things more as I make them.

Stay watching!

About

From Ireland to Minneapolis Minnesota...

I was born in Dublin, Ireland but have spent most of my life here in Minnesota. I inadvertently avoided becoming rich by pursuing a BFA in sculpture. Since graduating in 2004, I've spent most of my career as a welder/fabricator.

A few years ago an old employer went back on his word and in a fit of righteous indignation I quit. Then I quickly realized that I still needed to pay the bills, so I threw myself back into what I really enjoyed, sculptural wood and metal working. I quickly remembered how much I truly loved building beautiful and strange things, and this shop was born.

Most of my work revolves around unique styled prop pieces and other fantastical objects that you could picture in the Cosmere or Game of Thrones universe, with a major influence from HR Gigers biomechanial style. I do the odd pure sculptural piece here and there, but my greatest satisfaction comes from putting the final coat on a sword's handle or loosing an arrow from a bow that used to be just a chunk of raw wood.

As of summer 2015, we've moved into a larger work space which means we can increase production and release more of our unique items into the world.

Edited again to say on Dec. 30th 2016 I got the crappy news that I'm dealing with a bit of MS. Its primarily affected my hand (perfect) but there are many other bits that are just wonderful too. I've had to put a bunch of projects on hold but I'm slowly getting myself back to normalish. I'll be back and I'll have more things, including Myl my Small God, he's my first post-MS piece and he's good, I'm happy.

Returns and exchange details
I normally won't do refunds on purchased or reserved items, if something is damaged during shipping I'll work with you and the shipping company to get you reimbursed if possible.

With the bows I offer a one month warranty, because a number of factors outside my control including, overdrawing, improper stringing, improper storage (near heat vents or in unheated garages) just to name a few, I can only guarantee that when shipped the bow had preformed perfectly, shooting numerous arrows down range with no issues.
Payment
I use Paypal and direct checkout for standard payment, please let me know if you need to use a different method, fyi I don't do barter or trade, unless you have a nice 1st/1st copy of Old Man's War or something similar.
Deposits are nonrefundable but will apply as "store credit" without any expiration (within reason, once dementia starts to kick in don't expect the best quality work)

Because of the value and size of many of my pieces I won't ship until I get confirmation of payment.
Shipping
I use both UPS and the USPS for shipping, due to the unique size of some of the pieces I will go with whoever is the least expensive. Depending on the piece I might have to custom build a shipping container to make sure its safe during shipping but rest assured I do everything possible to package my pieces safely and securely.

If something is damaged in transit please contact me within 3 days of delivery and provide pictures so I can start a claim with the shippers, every piece is fully insured so you will receive full reimbursement but you do need to notify me within 3 days.

Once payment is received I try to get the piece shipped within 2 days, if a piece needs a more secure container I will inform you so you know the reason for the delay.
I can expedite if requested but otherwise pieces are shipped standard mail.
Additional policies and FAQs
Guarantee: These hand-sculpted creatures are relatively robust, but obviously have some delicate features, such as tails, teeth, tongues, talons or tentacles. So don't be mean to them.

That said as long as you haven't pounded one of these little creatures to dust (and if you did, you better have a good story to go along with its destruction) I promise to do any repairs on any creature if anything breaks (within reason, see total destruction reference).
I'll just need postage paid but otherwise I'll fix these creatures for 5 years from purchase.
