About
Beautiful prints on beautiful socks.
I have always loved textiles, images and prints. I went to art school in Vancouver, Canada, and in 2010 I had a desire for beautiful patterned socks. I wanted to make amazing and weird prints ---- and I wanted to see them on peoples feet.
It took many months and countless hours of research and testing before I found a method that worked for creating them. This is when Strathcona Stockings first came to be. (Shortly after, I launched this etsy store in early 2011). The next year Strathcona launched a collection of printed socks at a trade show in Paris. And things have continued on their crazy path since, with the launch of dozens of new prints and quite a number of new products.
I am always creating and experimenting with new prints and new ideas.
I would say -- with some pride that I was among the first people to make printed socks! It was unchartered territories when I started.

Please contact us before returning items.
When we receive the unworn item you will be refunded the cost (excluding shipping).
Please keep in mind that due to the delicate nature of stockings, items which have been worn or stretched cannot be returned.

You can pay with Visa and other cards through PayPal (even if you don't have a PayPal account).

Canada Post does not supply tracking numbers, but if you would like a tracking number or would like your item shipped with a private carrier (FedEx, UPS etc) please contact us and we can arrange this. Note that additional charges will be incurred.
The buyer is responsible for any customs or duties charged.
We are not responsible for items damaged in the mail. But will work with you to figure out anything as it comes up!
Please make sure the mailing address on your etsy account and paypal account are the same.
