Welcome to the Strawberry Shop!

Welcome to Strawberry Jude Stamps, a little shop with big heart. We focus on high quality craftsmanship and friendly service. We will never compromise on quality, our integrity or lower our standards. Our shop is family oriented and no foul language or discouraging sentiments will ever make their way onto any of our products.

I’m Jewel, co-creator with my 6-year-old daughter. I thrive on creating things and enjoy the entire process from start to finished product. I create all of our patterns and stamp designs with a bit of help from my mini co-creator. My passions are oil painting and riding my motorcycles. I smile a lot, stress when my house is a mess and I’m usually found consumed in one project or another.

Now that you know a bit about me, let’s talk shop! We have recently launched what we consider our signature product and will continue focusing our efforts and transitioning the Strawberry Jude Stamps shop towards our beautifully designed, high quality, made in the USA, photopolymer clear cling stamps.

The design process here at the Strawberry shop varies depending on the product. Our expanding stamp line, for example, often starts with a drawing by my daughter. She has a special allotted spot she leaves drawings of stamp set ideas as she thinks of them. I take her drawings and make my own sketches based on what she drew. Then I take my version and create the stamp set on the computer for production with our manufacturing partner.

Here’s how it usually flows:
Brainstorm → Colton’s Drawing → My Drawing → Graphic Design → File Prep → Partner Manufactures

If the set doesn’t start with a drawing by Colton, she still has a say in the design and gives her final “stamp of approval.”

Colton plans to take over the shop someday and assures me that, “When I am eleven I will be almost grown-up and I can run the shop.”

How the Stamp Line Came to Be:

Our stamp line is the brainchild of my 6 year old. We always have mother-daughter stamping time, probably 2 times a week. We make birthday cards for upcoming birthdays, we used them to etch a travel fund mason jar, to make tags for treats at church, and I stamp in my planner. She asked me to start it. No joke. She questioned why I didn't "just make my own stamps with all my graphics." As if it was so simple.

Then I started to think, maybe it is that simple?! Maybe I need to step out of my comfort zone and show my little girl that she is right, we can take risks and we can make things happen. Why didn't I make stamps with all my graphics that we can enjoy together and that everyone else can enjoy too? I mean, who doesn't want more quality, fun, creative time, with their kids?!

Jewel’s Background:

I studied art for several years in college: Media Arts & Animation at the Art Institute of Colorado, Fine arts at Metropolitan College of Denver and lastly, Children’s Book Illustration at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. However, due to both an illness and being a military family (we move a ton) I have yet to complete my education, but I am very, very close. I love learning, so will it ever be “complete”? I have received art and merit based scholarships, won several competitions over the years, had a short animation play at a local movie theater and taught art lessons to children.

    Owner, Maker, Designer

There’s nothing more satisfying then creating with my hands, but my passions are painting and motorcycles. I'm a perfectionist, eccentric and determined. My favorite word is “eureka”; I like pink, dresses, running, church, family night and housework.

  • C. Jude

    Creator, Designer

I like fancy, period. In fact, the fancier the better! I love to decorate exquisite cakes, draw, sew and paint. I adore every shade of pink, a hint of gold, roses, lace, fluffy ruffles and soft bows. I draw the first draft of our stamp sets.

Production partners

  • A Photopolymer Manufacturer

    AZ, United States

We partnered with experts in the photopolymer industry so we could offer high quality stamps. We do all of the design work and prep our files, and then our partner creates our beautiful photopolymer stamps that we're proud to put our name on.
