Announcement   Welcome! So proud to be an Alutiiq artist! Botanical replicas, petroglyph images and more in eco-friendly silver and white bronze!

I replicate leaves, blossoms, twigs, shells, etc., in silver clay. The finished piece is then cast in bright sterling and white bronze. Colors may appear differently on different media. Pieces may vary slightly from the photos in the listing because they are handmade.

Complimentary shipping upgrade to a single USA address with the purchase of three items at the same time.

1) In stock items are made to order in a day or less. They may be modified with 4 mm beads, clasp style, length, ear wire style, etc.

2) Custom one-of-a-kind jewelry in fine silver. It'll ship as agreed upon. This is paid before work begins and cannot be returned for a refund.

3) New design request in sterling silver or white bronze. This takes a couple of months to be designed and cast but is worth the wait if you have the time. Cast items are durable and reasonable in cost. The finished piece will be listed in my shop--if you like it you can buy it! No pressure!

My jewelry is sold at these brick and mortar locations:

About

I am definitely stuck on silver!

I started making jewelry after I retired from Navy and prison chaplaincy. I couldn't find jewelry I liked so why not try making it? I learned to work with precious metal clay (PMC)--PMC includes recycled silver and this appeals to my sense of stewardship for our little planet.

I design, fire and polish and in general create the finished item. An award-winning foundry then casts the item in low-tarnish "de ox" sterling silver and white bronze. Finally I finish the cast pieces--drill, stamp, polish, dap, solder and in general make them into jewelry.

I love the details I find in nature and replicating them in silver and white bronze!

I am very hands-on, making unique molds and creating finished prototypes, which are cast at an award winning foundry. I then stamp, drill, form, solder, set stones on, and polish, coaxing the cast pieces into unusual, durable and affordable jewelry.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Silver and white bronze will naturally oxidize or tarnish over time. I use a little commercial cleaner or a dab of toothpaste, water and a soft brush; rinse and dry. You may want to try sealing jewelry in an airtight container that's lined with aluminum foil. As a LAST resort, I place baking soda and aluminum foil in a ceramic bowl with the jewelry and pour in boiling water. Rinse and dry.

Never ever use a sonic cleaner on soft stones, especially turquoise, pearl and opal.

Custom and personalized orders

New designs may be sold in fine silver or if you can wait a month or so, I may have the design cast in sterling or white bronze to increase durability and reduce the cost.

New designs in fine silver will be one of a kind items and must be purchased in full before work begins.

I will try my very best to create designs that work for both you and me, but I'm sure you will understand that I may not be able to fulfill your design request.

Gift wrapping and packaging

If your purchase is a gift sent directly to the recipient, please let me know. I'll email you photos of the packing slip and label and make the packaging extra-special with your lucky friend or family member in mind.

Jump rings on a charm to use with your own chain

I will put two jump rings on each charm to use with your own chain:

1) A soldered jump ring. If it doesn't fit your chain, clip it with a manicure clipper, remove, recycle, and use the open jump ring.

2) An open jump ring. If the soldered jump ring works on your chain, remove and recycle the open jump ring.
