Sizing details
All clothing measurements are taken edge to edge with the garment lying flat and doubled.
Care instructions
Hand wash garments and lay flat to dry. With the exception of newer, say 1980s an forward. The washer and dryer can be too rough on older garments. The agitation and tumbling are just too much and you can't control that environment. Some cottons can be machine washed on a gentle cycle.
Tips for best clothing fit
Compare the item to the measurements of something you already own that has a similar style, cut and fabric. Take into consideration the fabric and rather it has stretch or not.
Vintage sizing
Remember that most vintage clothing sizes differ from modern sizes so compare your measurements to the garment and not what size is on the label.
What is the difference between vintage and retro?
Vintage is authentic and from the specific era.
Retro items are reproduced/imitated to look vintage.
