We hand-pour every Student Scents candle in our family home.

Our wax is a beeswax blend with absolutely no paraffin and consists mostly of beeswax - it smells like honey before we add any fragrance. The beeswax blend includes coconut wax, soy wax, and palm wax.

Our fragrance oils are locally made and are free of the toxins found in the cheaper online options.

Our wicks are premium wooden wicks for a crisp, consistent, and delightful burn (it crackles as it burns!).

Our scent lines all have unique and relatable student-themed labels, and everything is housed in high-quality amber jars.

Our 7oz candles have a burn time of 40 hours. Our mini candles (3.5oz) burn for 20 hours.

If the wick is too tall it will not draw up enough wax to keep itself burning. You either need to trim the wick or simply remove any built-up soot. Another issue with a wick that is too tall is that, if it does light, it could create a dangerously large flame. Wooden wicks work best when trimmed just about as short as you can get it (1/8" preferred). You may not even need to trim your wick, however, and just need to pinch the built-up-soot off the top. If the wax has burned down to under 1/2", it may be time to clean out the jar and buy a new candle.

We usually only consider potential wholesale orders of at least 12 candles. Contact us to discuss pricing. There is a small fee for printing custom labels ($0.50 per candle). You can waive the custom label fee by ordering at least 40 candles. We prefer to personally deliver wholesale orders to save money (ours and yours). However, if it is not possible for us to personally deliver the candles, we can coordinate shipping costs based on your wholesale order amount.
