In my happy place... searching a dry riverbed in North Texas
All geared up to sift for ancient shark teeth in a North Texas creek

As an artist, I have begun to incorporate nature and fossil themes in my work. I have also started to create digital art and design for the first time. This is a new adventure for an artist used to traditional media. It is so exciting to see my designs on products like fabric and even on my coffee mug!
I have been a Texas classroom teacher for 26 years. After beginning to design art digitally, I realized that I could take that new skill into the world of education. I have begun to create educational resources, much of which continues that natural Texas vibe. My current “big” project is a Texas fossil coloring and activity book for kids. I can’t wait to share it with you!

Last summer I married my amazing husband & the adventures began! We fell in love with fossil hunting on a trip to the Florida Coast where we first saw shark teeth. Since then, we’ve been on numerous trips to various rivers in Texas searching for fun!
