Welcome! I’m Kim W. Nolan and my shop is StudioKWN. I sell illustrations, cards, gifts, and more. There's something here for everyone!
I’ve always loved making, creating, building, and tinkering. From the time I was in pre-school, I’ve wanted to be an artist and I’ve never deviated from my life’s goal. In second grade I decided I wanted to go to art school when my work was selected for a group exhibition with high school art students. Ten years later I was accepted to the Rhode Island School of Design where I graduated with a BFA in illustration.
I’ve been a freelance illustrator for 20 years and have had a very fun and exciting career designing exhibits for children's museums, science centers, libraries, and zoos all across the country. My work has been published in several books and magazines and is on display in galleries and private collections all throughout the world.
I feel truly humbled and overjoyed every time someone buys my art. My lifelong dream comes true over and over again with the support of each and every one of my wonderful customers. It keeps me inspired and motivated to continue to do what I love.
