This painting is amazing. It was meant to be a birthday present for my husband a week from now, but I was TOO excited and gave it to him right out of the package because it was so perfect. Beyond thrilled - thank you!

Shipping was extremely prompt, and great care was placed in the packaging to avoid any possible damage. John was very courteous and thankful throughout. Couldn't recommend buying from him enough.

Thanks for taking the time to browse my shop. I appreciate it. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments. If you can't find something you like here, I'm available for all types of commissions... Is there a specific image you've always wanted to have realized as an oil painting? Maybe you feel my style would be a good fit, so just inquire -- I have extensive experience with a wide variety of subjects.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
All items are priced in US dollars.

I accept PAYPAL, personal checks, money orders and cashiers' checks. As soon as the order is placed and I receive payment, the order will be packaged and shipped within a three-day window (usually the next business day, however) . I will contact you as soon as the item has shipped.

Of course, if you're paying by money order or cashiers' check, I have to receive it before I can ship anything. If you send a personal check, it will have to clear before I can ship your item.

I encourage frequent contact between myself and buyers in order to establish a more 'personal' connection, as what you are purchasing is art and should not be a sterile object acquired through a sterile, impersonal transaction.
Shipping
Unless irregularly large (certain commissioned work, for example, requires me to work outside of the dimensions I normally post for sale on Etsy) I package all my art personally, and do so as if it were going to be fired out of a cannon into heavy traffic . . . Trust in my packaging.

Any and all specifics regarding your personal preferences in regards to shipping methods can be worked out with a simple conversation prior to or following your purchase.

I ship most often via USPS Priority, but certain commissions or customer requests have seen work sent by FedEx as well as UPS. If you prefer a certain shipping method, please let me know, but shipping costs are based on USPS rates and subject to change if the carrier is altered.

Insurance is available upon request, but will incur a nominal, additional fee.

If you have ANY questions, NEVER hesitate to pose them.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not offer refunds. Any damages or losses due to shipping errors would be issues covered by insurance. When it comes to commissions, regular updates (including photos) will be sent during the creative process, so that you, the commissioning buyer, remain a participant in the development of the work. I don't send sub-par work to a buyer. I go to great lengths to ensure your COMPLETE satisfaction.
Additional policies and FAQs
All Items you purchase from me will come with a certificate of authenticity, authored, signed and dated by myself; as well as an artist bio and a detailed packing slip.

Again, I welcome ANY and ALL custom orders. If you'd like a portrait of a certain individual or you have a concept you'd like realized, I'd be more than happy to take the commission. Prices are based on size and the complexity of the subject matter; contact me for details.
