Loved making these snowflakes easy pattern

I loved the middle snowflake pattern. The snowflakes look great, just as pictured, and it was easy to make and quick to memorize. I ironed them on Steam setting (quickly) tied a string to them and I'm putting them in Christmas cards. Thank you!

I made ornaments for each family member. I practiced the pattern first which was a good idea. I am an experienced crocheter but I needed to study the pattern first. Once I had the pattern down, it was easy and fast to make a large number of these snowflakes. At the end of the pattern I continued and chained 30 stitches then looped and attached the end to the base where I started the chain. Thus I had a secure way to hang on tree. I stiffed with 2/3 elmer glue and 1/3 water. I used a basting brush to brush on glue mixture. It worked better than dipping in the glue. After drying, I attached a small silver snowflake charm just under the loop. Perfect.
