Frequently asked questions
Sizing details

Our general sizing is as follows:
- lap pad: 16x20"
- small throw/toddler: 30x40"
- large throw/child: 40x50"
- Adult/Teen Single: 40x70" (size of twin mattress)

Care instructions

Our weighted blankets and lap pads are machine washable (unless otherwise specified) preferably in a front-loading washer or one w/o an agitator). We recommend washing with a full load of clothes/towels/blankets to maintain balance. For blankets heavier than 14 lbs, we recommend washing/drying in commercial machines (such as at a laundromat or dry cleaners). Not responsible for damage to washers/dryers.

Wholesale availability

Please contact us for details on programs available for medical and mental health professionals as well as fundraising programs.

Fillings

Our weighted filling is glass micro beads which are much more dense and just as washable as poly pellets so they make for a thinner, less chunky blanket and they flow wonderfully between the layers of fabric, making it easier to maneuver, fold, and wash.

Fabric

We offer weighted blankets and lap pads in both cotton broadcloth and flannel material as well as a few specialty materials as indicated.

Cotton broadcloth is generally more lightweight for warmer climates and users.

We recommend selecting a lightweight fabric for your weighted blanket and then adding additional bedding above or below the weighted blanket for additional warmth as needed.
