Announcement    Welcome to Style Junkie Antiques!
The holidays will be here soon and many of my customers are beginning to think about their holiday tables!

They are making some new purchases and requesting assistance with blending new purchases in with their existing china collection. One area of china to consider and is often overlooked is the 19th-century dessert set. If you are open-minded, there is no need to match what you have. You can pick something for its beauty, color, style, or maybe its surprise element alone. There are some pretty sets offered in the shop. Why not browse. You just may find something to catch your eye.

Style Junkie Antiques is committed to helping you(our customer) create a China Closet of curated quality china for those precious moments with family and friends,
When building my china closet I found that 19th-century English and French antique china sets have proven to offer the best in quality, craftsmanship, and design that have a timeless quality.
I personally hand pick the unusual, unique, and rare specimens always seeking pieces with a fresh and timeless quality that makes the investment worthwhile.
I am drawn to the time-period of hand-painted florals, aristocratic monograms,
classic white and gold pieces coming from top 19th-century English and French manufacturers.

Considered the "Little Black Dress" of tableware, White and Gold patterns are always elegant choices. We feature selections from manufacturers who have a proven history of producing top-quality porcelain. Limoges, Minton, Royal Doulton, Meissen, and Wedgwood to name a few name brands that we offer.

Monograms have historically represented nobility. Monogrammed pieces present an opportunity to add a touch of elegance to your tableware settings. They add an artistic accent that is classic in design. Monograms have been on china, linens, flatware, and glassware for centuries. With antique choices, monograms do not have to be your own. By using antique monogrammed pieces, you are adding a touch of elegance to your table as they once did during the height of their history.

Style Junkie Antiques A Journey Without An Ending

After a very rewarding career in city government, a latent desire to live the life of an artist full time is finally a reality. Years ago I started buying vintage and antique furniture because I have always loved the quality of design. Upscale design magazines featured beautiful and expensive products that were unaffordable. I discovered that many of the rooms included antique furniture and accessories. I would seek out some of the designs in local antique shops. Along with furnishing our homes, I began to collect investment antiques as a hobby. My plan was to start selling when I retired.

Now retired I am able to live my dream and give my full attention to providing quality home décor to my customers. I love beautiful furniture, porcelain, silver anything related to making a beautiful and comfortable home. During my time in collecting, I chose to focus on antique china and tableware. A great area to find choices steeped in fine craftsmanship and unsurpassed quality.

I feel that antique china is often overlooked. Many think of it as grandmother's china with dainty flowers fussy and not the kind of tableware to complement today's lifestyles. I want to show my customers and potential customers that this is not the case at all. Choosing certain antique china patterns can be just the ticket to express a variety of theme-related occasions for entertaining.

I made the decision to offer patterns that are timeless and embrace the use of color with classical styling. My customers like to entertain on occasion in an elegant manner and need special tableware to complement the sophisticated style of their homes. My experience has revealed the value to be found in antique tableware. The craftsmanship, beauty, and quality are unsurpassed compared to more modern-day specimens.

I was given the name "Style Junkie" by one of my antique dealer friends. The name stuck and we decided that it was the perfect name for my business. I will continue to be drawn to different styles and be open to the needs of my customers. I love being helpful and look forward to this new chapter of customer service.
