STYLECAMP PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy describes how and when Stylecamp collects, uses, and shares information when you place an order, contact, or otherwise use these services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Stylecamp does not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy.

1. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
To fulfil your order, you must provide Stylecamp with certain information, authorised via Etsy checkout, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide additional personal information (for a custom order, for example), if you make contact directly. This is stored by Stylecamp’s merchant account at Etsy and not shared with anyone.
Please note, that specific payment details, such as card numbers, are neither visible to nor stored by Stylecamp. These details are encrypted and managed by trusted data processors Etsy Payments (section 9 of Etsy Privacy Policy https://www.etsy.com/uk/legal/privacy/#security) and/or PayPal (section 11 of PayPal Privacy Policy https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-prev#11).
2. WHY PERSONAL INFORMATION IS NEEDED
Stylecamp relies on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
• as needed to provide services, such as when your information is used to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for email marketing;
• for analysis of sales trends and shop activity;
• if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law;
• as necessary for the purpose of Stylecamp’s legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as:
o 1) providing and improving Stylecamp services. Your information is used to provide the services you requested and the legitimate interest is to improve these services;
o 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. Your information is used as necessary to comply with Stylecamp’s obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
3. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Personal Information attained from customers is important to Stylecamp. Your personal information is shared for very limited reasons, to nominated data processers and in limited circumstances, as follows:
• Etsy: Information is shared with Etsy as necessary to provide you services and comply with obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
• Service providers: Certain trusted third parties use your information to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. Your personal information will be shared with these trusted third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
• Business transfers: If the business were sold or merged, your information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.
• Compliance with laws: Information may be collected, used, retained, and shared if it is reasonably necessary to:
o (a) respond to legal process or to government requests;
o (b) enforce Stylecamp’s agreements, terms and policies;
o (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues;
o (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of customers, or others.
• Email Marketing: This information is only disclosed to the third party, Wix, with your explicit consent, obtained by signing up with Stylecamp’s mailing list form.
4. DATA RETENTION POLICY
Your Personal Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide you with Stylecamp’s services and as described in this Privacy Policy. However, it may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements.
Your data is generally kept for the following time period: 4 years, unless you explicitly request its removal and it is legally viable.
5. TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE EU
Information may be stored and processed through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, your Personal Information may be transferred to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If it is necessary to transfer information about you outside of the EU, Privacy Shield is the legal basis for the transfer, as the nominated data processor Etsy Ireland UC is Privacy Shield certified.

6. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION RIGHTS
If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your Personal Information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. These are described below:
• Access: You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information held about you by contacting Stylecamp using the contact information below.
• Change, restrict, delete: You may also have rights to change, restrict use of, or delete your personal information. Apart from exceptional circumstances (where there are requirements to store data for legal reasons) your personal information will be deleted upon request.
• Object: You can object to
o (i) Stylecamp’s processing of some of your information based on the defined legitimate interests (see clause 2)
o (ii) receiving marketing messages after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, your personal information will be deleted unless there is compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
• Complain: If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about Stylecamp’s use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
