Announcement   Hello and thanks for visiting! I've been creating things most of my life. I was born and raised in Central Texas and moved to the northwest over 25 years ago. My mother and grandmothers were artists and crafters and taught me lots of different things. I love to draw, sew, bead, crochet, work with wood and do lots of other arts and crafts. I'll be offering lots of different items so check back often. If you're looking for something in particular or a certain color, contact me, I may have it. I'm also an avid collector of things, including vintage and retro items and will be offering up some of my duplicates.

I got into selling on the internet in 1998 on yahoo and ebay auctions under the name suvasi and became a part of thebeadcoop.com designing bead and cross stitch patterns. I also participated on the board of directors for Allied Arts of Whatcom County.

Etsy is a nice place to be, great people, great customers and lots of fun!

This little doll was given to us years ago and has been such a waif with no pretty dress. Thanks to your lovely work, she is now "properly dressed" & looks content and happy! Fits perfectly! Love your pattern and careful stitching, & I can't believe how quickly it arrived. Thank you!

I have been creating things since I was a little girl. I was born and raised in Central Texas and moved to the Pacific northwest. My mother and grandmothers taught me different arts and crafts, so you will find lots of variety in my shop.

Shipping
US Shipping prices are an estimate. I ship using USPS mail with delivery confirmation and insurance for US packages and will refund any shipping overages which are above actual shipping costs minus $2.00 ($3.50 for large or multiple items). This fee covers packing materials/supplies, gas, etc. I use tissue paper, bubble wrap and packing peanuts to secure the item and make sure it remains safe and intact.

Please note that international buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. I ship internationally using USPS 1st Class International or Priority Mail required for packages weighing 4 lbs or more. Depending on the destination country and time of year, international shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks.

I make every effort to try to ship 1-3 days after payment is received. The only hold up would be if I am filling a custom order and will need to make the item or if power should go out, which rarely happens, and I can't get online.

No Exceptions - Return shipping costs and original shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer, as are any Etsy and PayPal fees that are incurred, 20% restock fee. Item must be returned in the same box with packing supplies as was received. Please contact me first before returning.

All sales are final on most listings, see individual listing for info or contact me before purchasing.

REFUNDS ARE NOT GIVEN FOR LOST, DELAYED ITEMS, PACKAGE DENIED OR WRONG SHIPPING ADDRESS. I WILL ISSUE IN STORE CREDIT FOR ANY DAMAGED ITEM.

Purchasing from my shop indicates you agree with my shop policies, so please take time to read them before you purchase! Thank you!

Several have asked how I came up with the name SuVasi, my middle name is Suzanne (Deborah Suzanne Vasilinda) and an artist friend refers to me as Vasi, so I combined Su and Vasi.

We homeschooled our boys and always included some sort of arts and crafts projects that we could sell at arts/craft shows and consignment shops for extra cash. As the boys grew up I got into selling on the internet in 1998 on yahoo and ebay auctions under the name suvasi, that way I could always be at home with the boys and still bring in an income. About that time I became a part of thebeadcoop.com designing bead and cross stitch patterns. I also participated on the board of directors for Allied Arts of Whatcom County.
