I Visualize New Worlds

Janus Esclair, also known as Lucas Freeze is a Freelance Designer and Illustrator based in the Tennessee area. His work is characterized by stylized Illustrations, contrasted with a contemporary and organic sensibility. His fantasy landscapes are the stuff of dreams, leading to rumors that he is in fact a traveler from a distant realm. Whimsical and surreal, the conceptual landscapes are the perfect parallel of the real world and fantasy worlds that exist in the realm of imagination. Each piece is a part of a large story, building on one another to create a world that breaths life into the mundane and transcends even time itself.

Janus is one of the Co-Founders for Esclair Studios. Through the studio, Janus has applied his mythical skills to many different avenues, ranging in conceptual work to product design. His methods are exact with astonishing attention to detail that pushes the limit of what is possible through his artwork. Take a moment to observe any of his pieces and you will quickly find yourself swept away on a journey of dreams, it is an experience unlike any other.

Where should you buy frames?

I personally prefer the natural wood toned frames or matte black frames you can find at stores like T*rget or Ik*a, however there are plenty of options online and some even come in packs with multiple frames that is much more affordable than custom framed options.

For my 9.5x18.5 'skinny' size prints, I would recommend a 10'x20' frame if custom framing isn't an option. The art was designed to fit a 10'x20' frame with a thin border, which leaves room if you want to get a custom mat.

Is there a proper way to frame the artwork?

First, you need to decide whether or not you would like a mat to frame the artwork or if you prefer to have the artwork full bleed from edge to edge. We prefer black or wood toned frames to allow the colors of the artwork to flourish and standout. You can find affordable frames at many local big box stores like T*rget, Ik*a, M*chaels, etc. Or there are plenty of options when ordering online, just measure the size of your print and go from there!

As a side note, our Shadowbox Artworks, come already framed and ready to hang!

Are there currently any Shipping delays?

Currently my shop is not experiencing any processing delays, however the global and local postal services are still experiencing high volume as well as shipping delays related to the ongoing pandemic.

Domestic orders are taking an additional 2-3 business days in some cases.

International orders are taking an additional 3-6 weeks depending on location.

If I accidentally used the wrong address, what can I do?

– If your order was recently placed within 24 hours please message me immediately with your order. If it has not been shipped I can easily fix the label.
– If the package has already shipped you must contact the person at the address you shipped it to or wait for it to be returned to me.
– A reshipment fee will be invoiced to you before the package is shipped again to the correct address.
