Curator of Vintage
My mother would always say to me: “Wear it with confidence! "
I believe this goes for how we present ourselves, as well as how we dress our homes.
Visual presentation has always been a part of my life. I am as passionate about dressing a room, as I am about putting together an outfit to wear ...... I am always looking for that empty canvas to fill.
My passion for Vintage started at a young age. I was enchanted by old family stories from the past and raised with a respect for history, old homes, and family heirlooms.
I started expressing myself through fashion, and illustration, that led to my career in the New York City Fashion Industry. For many years I worked closely with designers, bringing their vision to life. Specializing in trend, color and composition, as well as fabric merchandising and coordination.
I have an Associates Degree in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and I am a HSR Certified Professional, who has completed the most comprehensive Home Staging and ReDesign certification in the country.
My virtual shop is a curation of Vintage Home Decor, Vintage Fashion and my Decorating Services.
I hope you enjoy your visit and find a piece of the past to revive!

*Vintage clothing fits differently than modern clothing. Through time women's bodies have changed and the garment industry adjusts so we all feel were wearing our true size.
Some women had custom tailored apparel made for them, and its possible that some earlier finds may have been.
*Use a dressmaker tape measure, which you can get at your local fabric store, and measure yourself over the undergarments you plan to wear, not over your clothing.
*It is the buyers responsibility to read the description of measurements, for a confident FINAL purchase.
*see the next FAQ for measurement guide.
BUST:Armpit to armpit with the garment laying flat and then doubled.
WAIST:The smallest point at the waistline with the garment laying flat and then doubled.
For low rise or drop waists we measure 1-2” below the natural waist.
For empire waists, measurements are taken 1-2” above the natural waist.
HIPS:The fullest part of the hips with the garment laying flat and then doubled.
SLEEVE LENGTH:The seam at the shoulder to the bottom of the sleeve.
SHOULDERS:The seam at one shoulder to the seam on the other shoulder.
INSEAM:On the inside of the leg, length of the crotch seam to the ankle hem.
CENTER FRONT LENGTH:The highest point on the shoulder to the very longest point on the garment.

Regarding Clothing, and also applicable to Home Decor:
I post each item and its condition as follows:
Excellent Vintage Condition: Like new, or barely any sign of wear or use.
Good Vintage Condition: Normal signs of wear and use inherant of vintage.
Vintage Condition: Wearable, and or useable, but has some issues, such as staining, or a tear that is repairable. Home Decor, crazing, or a crack.
I will always point out any issues that I notice, and for that reason I do not accept returns.
I will grant a refund if there was a misinterpretation or a fault was overlooked. Please contact me if there is a problem.
All vintage should be handled delicately, and the older the piece the more special the treatment.
