Cotton Quilting Fabrics and more

I have been sewing for a living for 20 years. I LOVE finding and buying and making stuff with beautiful, cool, amazing, sometimes quirky, fabric. I started this shop to destash some of my collection so that I can buy more. And then I'll share some of that with you, too!

My goal for this shop is to give excellent customer service. I will sell partial yards. I will photograph fabrics together for you. I will help you find coordinating fabrics. I will send you swatches. I will answer convos as quickly as I can, within 24 hours at the longest but usually much quicker. If it’s longer, I’m unconscious or experiencing a natural disaster. :)

Returns and exchange details
I want you to absolutely love your fabric! If you need a particular color or other characteristic, please request a swatch beforehand rather than have me cut yardage of a fabric that might not be the right color or other characteristic.

Please contact me right away if there is a problem. Because I cut the fabric to the length you have ordered, I can only accept returns if there is a flaw in the fabric [which is very rare].

However, if you are unhappy with an item, please do contact me to discuss it no matter what - I do want you to be happy with your purchase and hopefully we can figure something out no matter what! :)

Shipping
I will COMBINE AND REFUND shipping!

This saves you money compared to a free shipping scheme on just about any size order, because it allows me to keep the cost per yard so much lower.

After I print your shipping label, I will refund any shipping overage over $1.

Minimum shipping charge is $4 (up to 1 yard of regular width quilters cotton).

Shipping costs increase gradually for 1-3 yards and are based on weight and distance.

Up to 10 yards of regular width quilters cotton ships for just $9 within the US.

Knits, home decor, and extra wide fabrics are heavier and cost more to ship.
International shipping also costs more.

MY PHILOSOPHY

Gorgeous fabrics are a perfect, easy way to bring beauty to the everyday objects in your life. I hope you find fabrics here that will make you smile and feel happy every time you work with them and then every time you use the beautiful things you make!

QUANTITY

I will cut the yardage you order continuously. For example, if you order 3 yards of one fabric, you will get one 3 yard piece.

I have MORE yardage of most fabrics, and I answer convos somewhere between 'right this second' and 'within 24 hours'. Just message me if you'd like more than I currently have listed.

CARE

All of my quilter's cottons are machine wash and dry, please check each listing for details on home decor, rayon, or other types of fabric.

QUALITY DETAILS

Please read individual listing descriptions for the details of each fabric.

Most of my fabrics are quilter's weight cotton. 100% cotton, straight off the bolt [has not been washed]. Regular quilter's weight width, around 44". If you'd like the exact width, just convo me. :)

Each individual fabric weight can vary by about an ounce. Each fabric can vary in terms of softness, density of weave, and hand [how a fabric drapes] as well. Sometimes 2 bolts of the same exact fabric are even different. If any these things are important to you, convo me and I can describe it more, and I can also send you a swatch [tell me your address].

ABOUT COLOR

I am here to help you ensure that the fabric will be the right color for you before you buy. All computer monitors vary in how they show color. I have tried my best to show the color accurately through the pictures, but please read the descriptions of the color, too. You can also convo me and I'll get right back to you with more color description. I can also send you a swatch.

ABOUT SCALE

One photo in each listing shows the fabric with a centimeter measure and an inch measure. I hope this helps!

SHIPPING

I generally ship same day or next day. I will COMBINE SHIPPING AND REFUND OVERAGES when you buy multiple pieces. I will refund any overages over $1 when I print your shipping label.

I will send you a shipping notice with a tracking notice when I pack up your item. If you haven't received one within a day or two of your order [or expected shipping date with made to order items] please check your junk mail folder or let me know. You can also see the note and your tracking number by clicking "Purchases and Reviews" in the dropdown menu under "You" in the top right corner, and clicking on the transaction. If you haven't gotten your package 1 week after shipment in the US or 3 weeks after shipment internationally, please let me know. If you wait weeks or months to let me know your item hasn't arrived, I will be much less likely to be able to help you locate it.

International shipping can take 8-12 weeks, or more, if held in customs.

SLOW MAIL (which is usually very rare!)

I do not promise delivery times. I only can promise when I will ship your package. If you need your package by a certain date, please discuss it with me before purchase. I do not refund or resend for ‘slow’ mail.

I ship using USPS. For the weight of the items in my shop, FedEx and UPS are very significantly more expensive, and I have found USPS to generally be very reliable and affordable.

I am extremely reliable about shipping. I put your actual ship date in the note on your shipping notice. My husband drops my packages at the post office every single day, including Sunday, and sometimes twice per day.

Sometimes my post office skips scanning, especially during busy times. They have assured me multiple times that every package leaves their facility every single day, and moves to the next processing location. Once packages are there, there is no way for me to contact that location.

I want every package to get delivered quickly, and often work really crazy hours to mail things as quickly as possible, usually far ahead of my posted processing times. I am very distressed by slow mail!

Signing up for email or text updates often helps get a package moving. I hope you will contact me if your package is slow, so that I can sign up for them for you. You can sign up for them, too, just click on your tracking number until you get to the USPS.com page with the option.

If a package is very slow, you or I can file missing package forms on the USPS website.

If you have a slow package, I am sorry, and I truly hope it arrives very soon!

LOST PACKAGES

I am here to help you with the rare unfortunate lost package. Please let me know if you have not gotten your package 1 week after shipment within the US, and 3 weeks after shipment internationally, so we can start to investigate and hopefully get your package found as soon as possible.

International shipping can occasionally take a very long time, such as 12 weeks or more, due to items being held in customs. However, please let me know, as requested in your shipping notice, if your package hasn't arrived in 3 weeks, so we can start to inquire and keep an eye on it. If you wait months to let me know your item hasn't arrived, I will be much less likely to be able to help you locate it.
