The seller and I had a bit of miscommunication about the shipment, and it took about a month to receive, but in the end the item is top-notch and makes me a very happy girl. Absolutely worth the wait. Thank you!

About

If it's not good enough for me, it's not good enough for you.

I found the s/m scene in my teens overseas; the underground clubs were a life changing experience. My love for floggers started there, watching the senior tops dance with their bottoms was amazing, the skill, the finesse; it was a form of art. I had the privilege to be mentored by some of these ladies and gentleman and learned the dance.

I realized early on the balance, the cut, the feel of the flogger in your hand is almost more important than the feel on the receiving end.

Coming back to the states I spent more money on tools then I ever did on my transportation. About ten years ago, I got tired of spending hard earned cash for tools and gear that broke or just did not perform as I wished. With that I started making my own. After a while my friends in the scene began asking me to make them a tool or two. As I started making things for others, I started talking to everyone I knew in the scene. As I worked as a Dungeon Master/Monitor at many events, I watched others dance and the pros and cons of many of the scenes tools and furniture.

What did they look for in a high quality tool? What materials did they prefer? Why ?

Things that I noticed were tops were killing themselves in a scene because:

The whip was too light for the bottom,

They had to “white knuckle” the handle to keep it from running away, or

They had to swing hard and fast just to keep the tails from spreading out.

I asked the tops why they did not just get a thicker leather whip? Answer: “Have you seen the Prices of heavy floggers?” (note to self: keep the prices reasonable).

Been in the leather scene since my teens, been making my own tools ever since then. Started making tools for my friends in 2000, was convinced to open a store in 2011. I hope you enjoy my passion.

Why do I make tools and gear for the BDSM scene?

I found the s/m scene in my teens overseas; the underground clubs were a life changing experience. My love for floggers started there, watching the senior tops dance with their bottoms was amazing, the skill, the finesse; it was a form of art. I had the privilege to be mentored by some of these ladies and gentleman and learned the dance.

I realized early on the balance, the cut, the feel of the flogger in your hand is almost more important than the feel on the receiving end.

Coming back to the states I spent more money on tools then I ever did on my transportation. About fifteen years ago, I got tired of spending hard earned cash for tools and gear that broke or just did not perform as I wished.

Why ? Still today I regularly have in depth conversations with today's tops as to what they are looking for in quality and style.

Refunds and Exchanges
I have always said "I don't care if you get it caught in the ceiling fan. If it breaks, send it back and I will fix it." Within reason of course, I can't fix what our four legged friends decide to have as a mid-day snack. I know that most these items are made to be used rough, so I try and make sure that they hold up no matter the strain. If something I make does not live up to this standard; email me then send it back. I will fix or replace it free, if it was my craftsmanship at fault.

Need repairs on gear that I have made? Even if it's just plain ole wear and tear, I will gladly fix it at little to no cost to you.

Sudden Impact Gear guarantees the quality of all its products. If I won't put it in my own tool bag, I won't ship it out. Everything is checked for quality before we send it out. Should the goods arrive with a fault in materials or craftsmanship, please notify me and return it to me immediately, unused, for exchange or refund within 15 days.

Used items that would constitute a health risk cannot be returned these include toys and anything that is inserted into the body or comes in contact with bodily fluids. Sudden Impact Gear, may at it's discretion charge a 15% restocking fee for a canceled order, returned item or exchanged item.
