SueForeyfibreart's Shop Policies
My name is Sue Forey and I make original felt wall art. Unless otherwise stated my wall art will be stretched on to an artists canvas and ready for hanging. If you see something you like but the size/colour is not quite right please contact me to discuss a made to order piece.
Care - lots of people worry about keeping their wall art dust free as it is not behind glass. You can frame it if required but all you need to do to keep it clean is to take it outside every now and then and firmly tap it. Some items can be hoovered with an upholstery attachment but do check with me first.
Payment can be made by paypal or with a cheque in £ sterling. I now accept direct checkout and etsy gift cards.
I try to dispatch orders within 2 days. UK orders should arrive within a week but international orders may take a little longer.
When you place an order I will give you as much information as possible about delivery times.
All international orders over $30.00 are sent by 'airsure' which is fully tracked. Orders in the UK will be sent first class.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not happy with any of my products I will be happy to take returns within 30 days.
In the unlikely event that something is faulty I will pay for the return shipping but if you have just changed your mind about the order I am afraid that return shipping costs will be your responsibility.
Any taxes payable on entry to buyers country are the buyers responsibility.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I am happy to take commissions. As each piece of work I produce is original, a custom made item costs no extra. It will be priced on materials used and time to make.
CARE OF FELT ART
A lot of people are unsure about buying felt art that is not protected behind glass and worry about a build up of dust.
You can , of course, put felt art work in a box frame but keeping it clean is easy. All you need to do is take it outside occasionally and tap it against your hand. Rather like beating a rug but gentler.
If something gets splashed on it you can clean it with a damp sponge. If you really wanted to you could remove it from the canvas and very gently wash it. Not in a washing machine and not dried in a tumble dryer as these will cause the felt to shrink.
I have never had to do anything other than give it the occasional tap with my hand though.
