Greetings! I’m Lisa; welcome to Sugar Blush Studio’s little corner of the universe!

It started as a lone cake topper for a dear friend’s baby shower... Now, Sugar Blush Studio has turned into an outlet where I can flex my creative muscles outside my day job.

A graphic designer by trade, it is my job to make the world just a wee bit prettier one business card, logo, or annual report at a time. Combining my professional experience with the wicked awesomeness of cutting wood with lasers, I’m beyond thrilled to be able create little pieces of fabulous celebrations.

I operate out of Colorado Springs, Colorado where I spend my days kicking around Photoshop, scrolling through fonts until my eyes gloss over, and enjoying the fresh air with my family of two- and four- legged beasts. I count my lucky stars that I have a ridiculously talented IT Department who accepts payment in home-cooked meals and my willingness to pretend to be an outdoorswoman.

If you’ve purchased a Sugar Blush Studio item, rest assured it was meticulously designed, cut, and lovingly packaged with the greatest care… Likely to the musical stylings of hairless pooches accompanying an epic catalog of Disney songs.

Do you accept returns?

Please check your items immediately upon receipt. While we do not accept returns, if your item arrives damaged, flawed, or otherwise unsatisfactory to you in any way, please notify us within three days of delivery. We want you to love your purchase and we'll do all we can to make it right.

If you are unsatisfied with your proof, we will gladly issue a refund for the item and shipping, less a $20 fee for design time. All items are handmade to order, and once the proof has been approved, returns cannot be accepted.

If you'd like one, we'll gladly send you a proof - just ask!

Proofs will be sent for all cake topper orders by default.

For these orders, we will send you a proof of your design, usually within a day or two. You'll receive it as an attachment in an Etsy Conversation. To approve a proof (or let us know of a change), simply reply. If there are changes, we'll get you a second proof lickety-split. Once we receive your approval, we'll put your order into production and send it on its way.

If we haven't heard from you in two days, we'll attempt to contact you once more through a Conversation and also through email. If we still have not heard from you two days after that, we'll put your order into production and send it on out.

Can I customize the size? color? text? (insert adjective here)?

Absolutely! The vast majority of our items are made to order; just for you. If you love one of our offerings, but wish it was just a wee bit smaller, had a date, incorporated a meaningful phrase, or other change, please let us know. We love the little tweaks that our customers have made... It makes our toppers, mobiles, and ornaments that much more special.

Many requests can be accommodated at the prices listed in our shop. If you have a splendid idea on how an item can be made JUST PERFECT, please drop us a convo. We'll respond right away! Even if you are looking for something we don't offer, let us know what you'd like. We're here to bring your idea to life!

Please DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS to ensure your little piece of awesomeness arrives on time!

We print shipping labels directly from Etsy; your item will ship to the exact address you've provided at checkout. We are not responsible for packages that are unable to be delivered or are delayed due to errors in shipping addresses. We want your order to arrive on time as much as you do, so please make sure your address is in tip-top shape. :)

I need my item right away! Can you help?!?

Please send us a message before you order if you need your item before the estimated arrival date on the listing. While it is VERY LIKELY we can get it to you sooner (YAY!), we'd love it if you double checked with us first.

On principle, we think rush fees are super uncool, so we won't charge to rush production on an item if we can get it out sooner... But we might not be able to meet your deadline because of the time it takes to produce your order (paint and glue needs to dry and we might have a full production line at the moment).

Please understand; we can assure you an order will leave our shop on time, but there are rare occasions where items might be delayed in transit. Unfortunately, those delays are out of our control.

A word about handmade items in general...

While we are WAY more persnickety than most, your item may have tiny imperfections... Even our machine was made by hand (designed and built by Nathan, specifically!). We also work mostly in wood, which has natural variations in grain or appearance.

We're still waiting for our Hogwarts letter.... Until we achieve our OWLS or find a way to harness the power of The Force to ensure absolute perfection, your item might have a teeny glue spot, paint smudge, variant in the wood, or other teeny imperfection.

Those imperfections won't effect the overall appearance of your item; pinkie promise (there's that persnickety part again)! That said, please reach out if you're unhappy when your package arrives and we'll do all we can to make it right.
