It seems there was an error in the automatic download function on Etsy. As soon as the buyer contacted me, I sent the pattern via e-mail within 24 hours.

Welcome everyone! I hope this shop will provide you all with some Sugar for your Lemons - that is, some bits of happiness for the lemon-y parts of life.

Creating and crafting has been a part of who I am since I was very small, and I started this store as a way to continue creating while living abroad with my partner; I have spent the past 2 years living in Scotland and Italy. Because of this, my items in stock may have elements from around the globe. (Yarn from Scotland, beads from Italy, ideas from Canada!) I am back in Canada now, and am looking forward to continuing this business from my home country!!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any special requests. Things like changes in colour or material are extremely easy to do, and I would be happy to comply with any requests I can!

Payment
PAYING BY E-MAIL MONEY TRANSFER
I will accept an e-mail money transfer from customers. Please send full payment, plus $2.00 handling fee to SugarForYourLemons [!at] gmail.com. Once the payment clears (usually 2-3 business days) the item will be shipped out to you.

PAYING BY CHEQUE
If you're paying by cheque, I will send you an e-mail or message your account when I have received the payment. That will also let you know the day I am sending your item.

CANCELLATION
If you decide you no longer want an item you have purchased, please e-mail me at SugarForYourLemons [!at] gmail.com. If I have not shipped your item then you are eligible for a refund of your payment, less a $1.50 fee. (Please note: this fee is the same regardless of original price of product).
Shipping
SHIPS FROM CANADA
Previously I was living abroad, and my items were shipping from Italy. I am now back in Canada and all my items ship from Ontario within one day of purchase (unless otherwise specified).

SHIPPING TIME
All products will be shipped regular mail (up to 5 business days within Canada; up to 10 business days international). If you require faster shipping, please contact me before you make a purchase and we can discuss other options. Please note that any additional expense will be charged to the customer.

Refunds and Exchanges
DAMAGED ITEMS
Normal wear and tear on my items is to be expected. However, if one of my products breaks within 6 months of being sold due to a defect in the quality of craftsmanship, then the following policies are in place:

1.Please take a photo of the defect and e-mail it to me at SugarForYourLemons [!at] gmail.com

2. If it is determined that the malfunction is not due to mishandling and is, in fact, a defect in the creating process, you will be required to ship the item back to me at your own expense.

3. I will then fix the item and ship it back to you at my expense.

4. If it is not possible to fix, I will replace the item. If I no longer have that product in stock, you will be given the option of a refund (less original shipping costs) or a store credit in the amount of the original item (less shipping costs).

Please note that in the original e-mail correspondence I will try to let you know whether I still have the same, or a similar item in stock.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE DUE TO CUSTOMER USE
When damage occurs due to accidents (such as catching a necklace and breaking it), misunderstanding of care, etc, I would be happy to fix your item for a small fee. Please e-mail me with photos of the damage and we can discuss cost for repairs. (Cost will depend largely on what has been broken and how much time it will take to fix).

CUSTOM ORDERS
Please contact me at SugarForYourLemons [!at] gmail.com with any special requests for custom orders. I can change colours of knitted products quite easily, and would be happy to make anything larger/smaller depending on your needs.
