About Sugar Shacks....
Sugar Shacks Teepees is celebrating 13 years in business. Not too bad for a girl with a dream who started in a small corner of the laundry room at home.
Each of our products is handcrafted in our 500-sf studio located on our family property in San Diego, California. We strive to bring you quality fabrics and detailed craftsmanship to create an heirloom-quality product that will last for years. Our teepees have a light, airy feel and their neutral palette will blend perfectly with your decor. We partner with the well-know brand, Tadpoles for our hand-woven moses baskets.
We feel that customer service should not be a dying art and will keep communication ongoing from the time you place your order until your teepee is delivered to your door.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
- Custom or personalized orders
- Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
-If you are not completely satisfied, please email us with with your return or exchange request within 7 days of the delivery date of your items. Items must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery date.
Please include in your email the following information:
Your order number
Reason for return/exchange.
-We will not be responsible for reimbursing any shipping fees in the event of "buyers remorse."
-In the case of defective merchandise, replacement items will be shipped out at our cost.
-Please provide a tracking number when returning merchandise. We do not assume responsibility for lost or delayed packages.
REFUNDS:
-Once your returned item has been received, the price of the item will be refunded to your original method of payment.
-Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
-Email Confirmation will be sent once refund has been applied.
-Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is a problem with your order.

USPS terminology decoded:
"YOUR PACKAGE IS ON ITS WAY TO USPS FACILITY"
This means that we have handed your package over to our USPS pick up and they are bringing it to their facility. Please note that the USPS is not required to scan First Class or Priority shipments when they arrive at a facility, making the tracking unreliable.
"YOUR PACKAGE WILL ARRIVE LATER THAN EXPECTED BUT IT IS STILL ON ITS WAY"
This means that we have handed your package over to USPS; they have scanned it; and it's is being transferred to the various USPS facilities it needs to go to in order to make its way to you. Later than expected. But it's still on its way.
"MY PACKAGE SAYS DELIVERED BUT IT'S NOT THERE"
Sometimes tracking information is updated by carriers prior to delivery. So your package may arrive in the next day or so.
WHERE IS MY ORDER?
We wish we could give you up to the minute information on your packages whereabouts. Sadly, once it leaves us, we only have the same information that you can see. Usually, the best thing to do is to contact your local post office to obtain updates on your package.
Shipments to Canada:
-All teepees are shipped USPS priority mail international and should arrive 6-10 business days once shipped
-tracking is included
-please allow time for customs processing
-any customs fees, duties, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer.

Care instructions
Can my teepee be washed?
All teepees can be washed on delicate in cold water and put back on the poles to air dry.
*washing instructions can be found on the tag inside your teepee.
Bella Baby Rag Dolls should be spot cleaned and air dried.
How do I remove Wrinkles?
To remove wrinkles, simply mist with a water bottle while on the poles and let air dry.
