"Why is your store named after a cookie?" When I first became enamored with etsy, I was an eager buyer and an avid baker. Now as a shop owner, the name has remained. I take pride in sending my customers great vintage pieces that are carefully wrapped and promptly shipped.
As any "vintage lover" relates, I often feel like I am known as a bit of an eccentric for my fascination with old junk, but it doesn't bother me. I can remember some of the first items that I fell in love with: when I was about 4 years old, my Grandma Fitzgerald had a black lacquered music box that one of my uncles brought back from a tour of duty. There was a tiny geisha inside that danced to the theme from "Dr Zhivago". I was entranced and even now have that song on my ipod; it stirs something inside me.

It gives me pleasure to find little treasures that have a special meaning for others. I try to keep my prices reasonable so that I can still make a profit and the buyer feels that they paid a fair price.
Everything that I put in my store is something that I would use myself. Any flaws are disclosed and I am meticulous about making sure items are not smoky or musty. Many a lovely item I have turned away because of smoke smell or stains.

I do not accept checks or money orders.
It is my policy that I do not ship to unconfirmed addresses or temporary sites, such as hotels, motels, etc.
If an item is returned to sender, the buyer will be refunded the purchase price, minus the shipping costs. If the buyer would like the item to be "re"sent to another address, they are responsible for the extra shipping cost.
United States postal is my preferred method of shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the nature of vintage items, it is important that you ensure your item is well suited for you prior to purchase. Please double-check and compare the listing size and your own size to get the best fit. If you are unsure and have a question about the size or appearance of an item, do contact us PRIOR to purchase and we will gladly send you more pictures or take additional measurements.
Refunds will be given for items that arrive damaged.
If you decide that an item just isn't for you, please contact us within 3 days and return the item in original condition within 7 days for a refund of your original purchase price.
