A need to make the old and unloved usable, lovable and decorative
Someone several years back sent me a link to Etsy when they ordered my Switchplate covers and hand painted coordinating stove top covers. She said I think you should list a few items on this site. I have a friend who adores this site and it's totally devoted to handcrafted items..Well it didn't take me long..hmmm about 5 seconds to join.
I love Etsy. I've had to leave on and off for several years due to my work schedule
While I'm not able to devote full time hours to Etsy I do enjoy working Etsy on my days off
Hopefully within the next few months as my schedule changes(fingers crossed) I will be able to get back into the swing of things. I do love salvage shops and Estate Sales.
It's hard driving past an Estate Sale on your way to work and you know you can't stop because you'll be late for work lol
Most everything I offer in my shop has been given a bit of TLC.
Next I love crafting those dull plain light switchplate & outlet plug plate covers into unique little decorative pieces for your home or office.
There are many crafters who enjoy making switchplate covers & we all have our own crafting techniques that bring new life to these household necessities that are usually dull & drab to look at. Although small once decorated they add a special touch to a room's décor, plus they're perfect for rooms with limited wall space:)
