About

I am an artisan jeweler from the andes of Peru

I am an artisan jeweler from the beautiful country of Peru. Growing up, my family grew our own food, raised our own animals, and sustained ourselves on a small rural plot of agricultural land. After moving to Memphis, my passion for nature and art drove me to start my small business Sumaq Sairi. Sumaq in Quechua means ‘beautiful.’ Sairi means ‘novel’ or ‘unique ‘and is a shortened form of the name of the last Inca chief who ruled the area where our family is from. It’s also a short form of my second last name, Sairitupac (my mom’s last name).
I make Eco-friendly jewelry by repurposing orange peels, lime peels, melon seeds, and many other natural seeds. My designs are inspired by the nature and culture I grew up in.

Returns and exchanges
I stand behind everything I sell. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with the product upon arrival, I can provide a refund to customers who state a reasonable case that the product has a defect in quality, craftsmanship, or damage incurred during shipping process.
Refunds are limited to 30 days after the date of purchase. Keep in mind I take detailed photos of all the jewelry so this should convey the design and details, but many of the stones are specially carved so that in real life they have a particulate shine, luster, and depth, or may reflect light differently at different angles of view. I recommend that you ship your package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance. I am not responsible for packages lost in transit without proof of tracking. When I receive the item I will refund the price of the item purchased.
Payment
This shop accepts Paypal and credit or debit card paid via the Etsy website.
Shipping
Orders to the United States ship via USPS 1 to 4 business days after purchase. Special orders may take longer depending on the availability of product orders. After the order ships I will provide a tracking number.

International should take anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks, depending on country, customs, weather conditions, and diligence of local postal delivery. I am unable to provide tracking numbers for international packages.
