Announcement   I’ve always loved the intricate and beautiful designs of vintage tins. After amassing a small collection of personal favorites, it occurred to me that they could be de-constructed and turned into something…else. So, that is what I’ve done here. I love having the opportunity to wear a pair of these earrings, flaunting their beauty more widely than any curio cabinet or kitchen shelf would ever afford. I hope you will enjoy them as well...

About

Accomplished Amateur tinsmith, fiddler-with-metal, mineral and bling-y thingies…

I used to help my father manufacture toy trains. At age 12, I was operating punch presses, soldering irons, grinding wheels, all manner of heavy machine-shop grade equipment. Paid per piece, it was really a lucrative job considering the alternatives for a kid my age. Once again, I’m tin-snipping away, now in a more feminine version of my father’s expansive workshop. Mine is messy-er. But, organization…that’s another project, for another day.

I hope you enjoy what I’ve made and am trying to peddle in my shop, Sumptuary Studio (an amalgamation of Sumptuousness + Studious Toil). When I design, I like to incorporate elements that draw me in, turning them into something that I hope will be highly wearable, unique and a go-to favorite in your jewelry collection.
