Thank you for your interest in my artwork. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. As a child, my grandparents did not buy me coloring books, but instead gave me plain pads of paper to draw on. I was lucky that I was never told I had to stay inside the lines!

Oils and soft pastels are my favorite mediums because I love the intense colors I can achieve. As you can see from my work, I enjoy capturing moods in women’s faces and especially their eyes: pensive, proud, knowing. I also love flowers and the ability to convey cheerfulness and happiness expressed in vivid colors.

I love to get lost in my art and for me it is the best therapy. When I am creating a piece of art I lose all track of time and forget about any problems I might be having for that time. I enjoy the process and the journey, and when I am finished it makes me happy to know that someone will enjoy and be inspired by my finished piece.
