I have never been so impressed with a piece of handmade pottery, & I've purchased quite a bit over the years. The design is absolutely gorgeous & the bottle and handle are perfectly formed without any defects whatsoever. The color & glaze are beautiful. It's just perfect, absolutely perfect. Could not be happier with it!

About

Influences...

The creamy color of yucca in June’s bloom. Canning in Grandma’s old blue jars. The chunky stitches on a patchwork heirloom quilt. A snapshot memory of my Dad twisting the gate wire with pliers from his back pocket. The old barn we've passed by the last 20 years. My daughters’ no-rules approach to color and finger-paints. The calming green of my new bath towels. A geometric print hanging in my closet. The fairy wings/seed pods hanging from our backyard trees.

These are just a few of my life’s influences revealed when I create pottery. My pottery is thrown on the wheel and often has hand applied embellishments. I use several different clays and glazes to achieve my designs and fire in electric kilns. I strive to make pieces that capture the spirit of my many inspirations while offering my customers diversity in design. Sometimes I favor the starkness of white on white, and sometimes I just need a pop of color. And I think my customers like variety, too.

Thank you for your interest in Sundance Clayworks. I enjoy exploring different clays and firing methods, but right now my focus is functional stoneware. I am inspired by my Wyoming native flora but also use cultivated plant life in my work which grows in our Zone 3-4 climate. Seasonally (summer and fall) I also throw and fire Raku pieces. Please review each listing’s description for suitability with food and drink.

Shipping
I ship through the United States Postal Service. If you would like your package to arrive at a physical address please let me know at the time of your order placement and I can ship UPS or Fedex, however, there usually is additional shipping costs for these carriers.
Refunds and Exchanges
All of my pieces are handmade and by nature will have variations in glazes and design. No individual piece can be exactly replicated. (One of the many beauties of the art!) I also strive to depict all angles of the item so that there are no surprises upon arrival. However, if you are not happy with your purchase you may return it at your expense for shipping and insurance. Also, original shipping is not refundable.

I do not offer exchanges but you may return your purchase as noted above and order an alternative item listed on Etsy.

Should there be shipping damages please photograph the damaged box and items and email me within 5 days. We can then discuss your refund or a varied replacement item.
