I like to make jewelry and pretty little things.

I have always loved tinkering with things. I took all my music boxes and record player apart when I was a kid just to figure out how it worked and went together. My mom was less than pleased. And I have always wanted to make things. Made a pair of flip flops in the first grade. They did not work well but I still loved them. I started making jewelry as a little kid, with safety pins and those weird beads with the three round things on them. Then moved up to friendship bracelets, stringing bead necklaces and tiny bead earrings. Now I can saw and solder and file and rivet. I like to bend wire, hammer and stamp metal sheets, use beads and assemble tiny things. And now I'm going to sell it.

Since many of the items here are handmade in metal and hammered to one degree or another, strike marks are not always polished out and are allowed to patina naturally, especially the copper items. Many sterling silver pieces may also show strike marks from hammering. If a finished piece needs to be fully polished it will be, but I often find the imperfections add character or visual interest. My craftsmanship continues to improve and I strive to deliver well constructed jewelry but I enjoy the look and feel of things clearly not made by a machine. I like the patinas on copper, strike marks and texture is appealing to me and I'm drawn to imperfect shapes. I want the finished pieces to wear comfortably and stay on, but I dig a simple and funky look.

I also take commissions for custom, personalized jewelry. Message me and we can discuss colors, materials and shapes.
