Today a little bit of this turned into something great for Mother"s Day...
Good Friday in the studio - I have a longstanding tradition of creating at least one cross on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Christmas Day each year. This is one of 2 that I created this morning. Usually pre-sold, this year I wanted to be different.
Part of a full sized stained glass church window finished today. Religious glass is a favorite around here, especially crosses. Although not as formal, the stained glass crosses I offer in the shop are one of my most popular stained glass items.

About

I do love glass - a medium that combines light, earth, air, fire and water elements.

I started in stained glass as a hobby almost 20 years ago. It was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream to work in the medium that had fascinated me since childhood.

After practicing my craft for many years, a very small craft show experiment accidentally launched my hobby into a home-based business. Within a couple of years I was working glass full time and soon expanded into a commercial storefront. With my retail days now behind me, I can focus on making great glass and teaching in my private loft.

In addition to the work you see in my shop, I have designed and fabricated hundreds of custom glass pieces that are located all over the world. My work has been featured in television shows and movies as well as international catalogs and print media, in places of worship, businesses and homes.

I lovingly handcraft every item in my shop with the inspiration of the light and spirit of glass.

Frequently asked questions

Do you make custom stained glass windows and suncatchers?

Custom stained glass is available in many styles, designs and sizes. I have capability to create and ship glass from small suncatchers to full sized stained glass windows anywhere in the world. With over 20 years of glass experience and hundreds of commissioned windows, I can create something just for you!

Upon acceptance of your project, you will have an up-front written schedule and consistent updates for your project from design through anticipated ship date - a process that usually takes 2-8 weeks depending on size of project.

Glass IS my full time job and I am exceptional with time management and on-time delivery. I don't take more projects than I can handle so I can give each project my full attention and best workmanship.

How do you pack and ship items?

All items are packaged with great care to arrive in picture perfect condition. All items are securely boxed for shipping using new packing materials from a smoke-free studio.

All items are wrapped with proper cushioning and container reinforcement when required.

Larger, custom stained glass windows are usually shipped in a custom made wooden glass crate and "float" suspended within the crate to their destination.

Our preferred shipping method is US Postal Service. We also use FedEx Ground and FedEx International shipping when requested or required. All shipments receive tracking numbers and insurance (when required) and you will receive a confirmation of shipping email from Etsy on the date of shipment.

What about damages?

Damages are infrequent but they must be reported within 48 hours of verifiable delivery confirmation, no exceptions. Please take photos of damage and packaging and contact me immediately. I will work with you to resolve the issue.

If reported 49 hours or more after verifiable delivery confirmation, damage is out of my hands, no exceptions. This is even if the package was in your or someone else's possession, you were on vacation, it was a gift, you forgot to open it, or the package didn't get opened on arrival. It is critical that the damage be reported as close to delivery as possible for insurance purposes. Accidental mishandling after item(s) leave packaging does not constitute damage and I am not responsible for accidents.

Do you have gift cards?

We are happy to offer a gift card for your special gift, no matter what the occasion! Please convo via Etsy and let me know what you have in mind. The recipient can use the gift card with our shop for any item in the shop and/or as credit toward a custom project. Gift cards or partial gift card balances may not be redeemed for cash, merchandise only.
