We want you to look Superfly. Can you dig it?

Here's the skinny. We are a two friends, Don Darnell and Paul Grusche (, that began our venture in Dexter, Michigan a few years ago. After restoring cars and motorcycles out of our home garages, we built Superfly Garage in nearby Jackson. The logo, threads, store, website and accessories are 100% designed by us. Soup to nuts.

We built this store with a print-on-demand partner so we could offer lots of solid choices without stocking inventory. You can imagine how much it would cost to carry all the multifarious sizes and colors someone might order in our store. Those costs would squeeze-play us into only offering a couple hats and t-shirts. We wanted to offer more.

Wait... what does print-on-demand mean? It means when you order something, it is made for you then shipped. It also means we don't get bulk price breaks so we keep our margins slim to be competitive. Finally, it means returns are tricky. What we would do with someone's custom order? As a start-up shop, it would be difficult to support today's typical online shopping experience with no question returns. We therefore can only accept returns is certain cases, like quality problems.

We know this isn't ideal. So, in order to give you full confidence in ordering, we provided detailed size charts for everything. We also kept color choices to a minimum. That way you see is what you get. We also sell reputable brand-name merchandise. So if you can will work with us by doing a little self measuring before ordering, we think you'll find items will fit right and we know they will look great.

That all being said, we are here to support our customers.

Questions before ordering? Please holler!

Concerns after? Hang loose. We will resolve them with you!

We are here for the long run, not the short haul and don't want you left holding the bag. That's not our bag baby. What we want is for you to look Superfly.

Frequently asked questions
Why don't you accept returns or cancellations?

Well, here is the low down. Every order is custom printed or embroidered when you buy it by our partner. Since it is made for you, we can't "return" it to stock because we don't have stock.

This made-to-order system allows us to offer lots of different styles and fashion without projecting what people will like or buy. Ultimately, we can give you tons more choices and designs plus make limited editions without trying to predict sales.

That all being said, we will work with you to exchange an item.

How can I be sure it fits?

Each clothing items has specific sizes and measurements. Please be sure to use the charts being ordering!

What if the color looks different than the picture?

If you are worried you won't like a specific color, try sticking with whites or grays. Let the logo be the splash of color! I will say, I have the steel blue t-shirt and dig it.

We designed our logo with basic black, grays, white and red. It's pretty hard to screw up those colors. We have been really happy with sample line we designed and ordered!

What happens if I'm really disappointed with the product?

We're in for the long run not the short haul. Hang loose and we'll work something out. Just contact us.

Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent.

Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment. The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash.
