My work is 100% hand crafted in my home studio, set in a 300+year old farmhouse in rural Northumberland, England. Photos can be found on my website (there's a link below) and there's many photos on my facebook page (link also below!!)

Sculpted and created consciously for you to wear and enjoy, as well as to give joy to those seeing you wear it!

Thanks to selling here on Etsy, and at markets and festivals on my ethical stall (www.wildflowertrading.com), I've had the honour of supplying so many beautiful souls with my creations! I've met so many thousands of people over the years, and it's an incredible feeling having so many people buy my art work to display on their bodies! Thank you for stopping by my Etsy shop, whether I've met you in person at the stall or you're from far far away.

About

Living a colourful creative dream....!

Spurning from a love of clay and sculpture, my creations started as a therapeutic hobby back in 2010 and soon became my full time job. I LOVE IT!! ~ I hope this passion comes through in every piece of work and in every little part of my business.

Everything has been lovingly made from scratch out of the raw material ~ FIMO polymer clay. I love working with so much colour, and creating my own colours through experimenting with different blends. Each and every piece is a unique creation, and most pieces are completely one of a kind. If you own something by me, know that you are the owner of a very special little piece of wearable art, packed full of creative joy!

I use an ancient decorative technique called 'Millefiori' ~ traced back to Italy to the art of glass blowing. Layers and blends of clay are placed together and manipulated to form images. The outcome...super intricate wearable art that is boldly different!

My Etsy shop was opened just after my 25th birthday, back in 2010, and within a month of making I had quit my full time job (in a boring pharmaceutical lab grinding tablets!) and jumped straight into the deep end of running a self employed business. Everyone thought I was very brave, taking a big risk and was slightly mad... I knew I wasn't, I just had a passionate vision of a better life...and so created one! Life is too special to spend it doing something you don't like or even care about or that doesn't bring oodles of joy on a daily basis!

I started at the local markets every weekend selling my creations to visitors and residents in the North East of England. I had about three necklaces, two bracelets and a few beads and studs for sale! Not having another job to support me, I had to work and work each day to better my skills and produce more stock to then be able to buy more clay. Every penny I made went back into the business. It became a little obsession.....I needed a stall.....a car to fit the stall in......more clay.......work work work.

Now nearly 6 years on, my little business continues to grow and evolve. The stall has really come together after finally having more money to buy nice material, display stands and bits and bobs to make it look great. Supremily Jewellery is really becoming a well known unique brand in the North East of England and all over the world (thanks to etsy)!

My work was chosen to feature in Vogue Magazine in 2012 after only two years as a polymer clay artist. I was overwhelmed! I didn't really feel ready for it at the time, but I realized that I had something special to offer, and it only drove me to work harder and become better. I've exhibited in galleries and shops in the UK, one being the famous Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Best of all though, I love to sell on my stall at the local markets, meeting my customers face to face. I've met so many amazing people and continue to do so every week. I'm in love with the diversity of human kind! I love to trade at summer festivals in the UK. My stall has appeared at Glastonbury Festival, The Secret Garden Party, Eden, Deershed and Alchemy so far and I really hope to do many many more in the future. (I've applied for Glastonbury 2016 so watch this space!!!) I always return from festivals so full of life, energy and happiness. I also love the winter, and brave the snowy outdoor markets right through Christmas and into the new year! (I must be mad!)

I've now moved out of the city and into the wilds of Northumberland with my soul mate and beautiful partner (and fiancée) Ian. We live in a national 'area of outstanding natural beauty' it's unbelievable! ~ I've set up my creative space overlooking this magical land ~ it takes my breath away every day and inspires an even more creative life! We got engaged at the Eden Festival in Scotland where I was trading with my stall in 2014 and we plan to marry in the meadows next to our farmhouse maybe in 2017. Life is rather magical my friends!
