About

I started as CreativEntropy and that continues to guide my philosophy.

I was introduced to quilt making in the late 1990s after studying costume design and photography for a stretch. I took to quilts the way I view making photos — the creation of an original piece of work from found elements. I apply my unique perspective to the tools available and come up with something just as unique.

The shop was set up as an outlet for my designs and handmade goods. I strongly believe that housewares are meant to be used and enjoyed and so I make my quilts and housewares for just that purpose.

I've been making quilts for about 15 years now, loving the design process as well as getting to play with fun patterns and fabrics. I have a background in photography as well, though quilt making and drafting has definitely taken the front seat.

I ship via USPS Priority Mail for all shipments within the US and Canada, unless other arrangements have been made. There may be exceptions to this method, in which case I will let the buyer know at the time of shipment. All orders will be shipped out within 3-4 business days of payment received. If, for some reason, I am unable to do so, I will contact you as soon as the order is placed.

*If you would like to insure your package (for any purchase over $30.00) please add that in the message at the time of purchase. USPS insurance prices start at $1.85 and go up from there depending on value of the package. The additional fee request will be sent through PayPal if that is your method of payment, or I will send you a quote by email to add to the shipping costs. Thank you for your cooperation.
