Announcement   November is my birthday month!

What do I do for my birthday? Well, buy yarn, of course.

If I don't reply to you immediately after your purchase or inquiry, please forgive me as I just might be away from my internet celebrating. It's also our wedding anniversary month. Those two events give me permission, in my mind, to do whatever I want or do nothing but knit.

Yes, there's also Thanksgiving coming up as well.

Stop by often and also see me on facebook & flickr:

About

Susan Knits Socks and a whole lot more.....

There are so many ideas in my head and so little time to get them onto the needles.

Way back when I was just a kid under the age of 10 (or so that's how I remember it) I picked up some needles and gave this knitting a try. My first project that I ever finished escapes my memory banks - probably for good reason. Chances are it was the traditional scarf with raggy edges and dropped stitches.

Now, I see a yarn and I have to own it. That's how this Etsy shop got started. There are not enough days in a year to wear all the beautiful yarns as a sweater, hat, scarf, gloves, or socks.

I'm willing to part with my hand knits. It's tough.

My prices won't be high since it's not possible for me to pass on the cost of the yarn and add in my time. I shop for the best prices and stalk eBay and Etsy on a daily basis for the best deals on the most awesome yarns. I have my favorite sellers and yarn dyers and prefer to use yarns hand dyed by other Michigan residents.

I started knitting before I was out of elementary school. I won a First Place ribbon for a painting in 5th grade and thought that I must be talented or something. So, onward I went to test my talents.
