I love this little apron, love the style - no tying necessary. Love the pockets too!

Apron was a gift for a friend at work. I was so pleased with it I almost kept it myself! The attention to detail was great and I think she will get years of service out of it. Now to purchase one for myself!

About

Aprons for Everyone!

As I neared retirement, I began looking for an outlet to keep me busy and fulfill my creative side. Enter apron making!
Looking at all of the wonderful ETSY shops, I realized I wasn't the only person on the block who loved to make aprons, so I tried to provide a little something extra in the variety and size range that I offer. My aprons are real aprons to fit real people, with really reasonable prices AND every apron is unique - no two are exactly alike. I love finding wonderful fabrics and styles that appeal all of the apron wearers out there and I enjoy the process of creating fun stuff! Often, an apron will be created using mix and match pieces of assorted apron patterns.
The PROCESS: I pretty much fly by the seat of my pants! I don't buy fabric wholesale by the bolt, I haunt the local fabric shops for sales and deals and buy material piece by piece when I find prints I like, then take it home, wash and iron it and stare at it until I decide how I should use it. Sometimes a piece I bought with one style in mind will become something totally different. I experiment. I listen to what people are asking for. I try to make sure there are choices. I sew just about every day in the winter months and in the summer, I often pkay hookie and spend time at our cabin in the Sierras to recharge.
A FEW POINTERS ABOUT SIZE: Because I use a variety of patterns from different manufacturers and sources, sizes vary, just as clothing varies in size. If possible, I try to provide real measurements to help you determine if the apron will fit - I also will list size ranges that should be able to wear a particular apron, since one pattern might call a small 10-12 and another pattern will say a small fits 2-4! Big difference! Most often, an apron will fit several sizes and you can see this in the fact that it's me modeling most of the aprons - I'm generally a medium to large but, in a pinch, I can often model smalls to extra larges. If you have questions, feel free to convo me and hopefully I can help answer any concerns you may have about fit. If the apron is for a child, I recommend always going a little big (they'll grow into it!). If you don't want to deal with size for a gift apron, choose a half apron, or one of the many 'one size' choices available.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

Sorry, but I do not accept custom orders.

I am unable to embroider, monogram, or otherwise personalize aprons.

Sizing details

I carry a wide range of sizes but sizes do vary. In some cases, an adult 'small' may translate to numbered size 4 to 6, while another pattern may compare it to sizes 8 to 10. I try to give measurements in the description of the apron and explain the sizing, but please feel free to contact me if you have additional questions.

Care instructions

Most of my aprons are 100% cotton and the fabric has been pre washed prior to sewing. Washing in cold water will help preserve the vibrancy of the colors. Tumble dry or line dry as you prefer.

If special care is required, the instructions will be noted and will accompany the apron.

Gift wrapping and packaging

When shipped, aprons are carefully folded, wrapped in tissue and mailed in polyurethane mailers.

Price tags are removed and no invoice accompanies the shipment. If you require different handling, please convo me.
