I absolutely loved this poem. Suzanne has a real flair for this. She went way over and above. I'm so pleased and will order from her again!!!

About

My Shop's Second Life

I have loved writing poetry all my life. About a year-and-a-half ago I got the idea that a person would enjoy reading a poem about himself, especially to memorialize a special event in his or her life. So I began writing poems for friends about their friends and loved ones. The response was so heartening. Everyone loved what I had written, especially the recipients, and I had discovered that the main strategy for selling these poems would be as gifts people would give to their friends and family on special occasions.

I set up my business in the summer of 2012, but family issues caused me to let the business lie fallow before it even really got started. Now I am back and have added a new slant to the original one: poems for weddings presented as ideas to the bride and groom by the wedding planner. Such poems could be read at the reception, placed at the beginning of the photo album, or sent with the invitations. The possibilities are myriad.

Once again I am operating as an Etsy shop, because I love the helpfulness of the site and the feeling of camaraderie. Then too, no where else can a small business owner get so many great features at such a reasonable cost.

I am very excited to start afresh and hope that you will be a customer or just come back to read new poems that will be listed every month or so. Also, feel free to call or e-mail me even if you're not ready to be a client yet. My business is truly a back and forth between creator and client, and I welcome your ideas.
