Joyce Sven realizza gioielli fatti a mano da circa 30 anni. Crea anche gioielli in argento sterling, sia in lastre che in filo, e li fonde con il metodo della cera persa.
Tutti i gioielli in filo metallico qui offerti sono realizzati con un unico filo continuo. Non viene utilizzata alcuna saldatura. Si tratta di un antico metodo di creazione di gioielli che risale all'epoca degli antichi Egizi. Più recentemente, all'inizio del Novecento, i gioielli in filo metallico venivano realizzati dai veterani disabili di ritorno dalla guerra. Allestivano un tavolino e creavano delle graziose spille personalizzate, vendendole direttamente ai passanti. Queste spille erano conosciute come gioielli "Sweetheart" (per innamorati) perché venivano spesso acquistate alle fiere o alle feste dai pretendenti delle donne.
I nostri gioielli sono realizzati con filo d'argento sterling massiccio (non placcato) o filo d'oro giallo 14 carati, a vostra scelta, garantito contro l'ossidazione. Joyce Sven.- has been crafting handmade jewelry for some 30 years now. She also creates from sheet and wire sterling silver and cast in the lost wax method.
All of the wire jewelry offered here is made with one continuous wire. Nothing is soldered. This is an ancient method of creating jewelry that goes back to the time of the Ancient Egyptians. More recently, during the early 1900's, wire jewelry was made by disabled veterans returning from the war. They would set up a card table and create the most lovely name pins and sell them right on the spot to passers by.  The name pins they created were known as "Sweetheart" jewelry since they were often purchased at a fair or festival by a lady's suitor.
