Featuring High Quality Custom Hand Writing Instruments
SwamphouseWoodworks' Shop Policies
Swamphouse Woodworking was established in August 2012. I have always enjoyed pen making since 1999, and always strive to come up with new materials and ways to create unique writing instruments and accessories.
At the moment I am specializing in woods that are native to Texas. I also enjoy turning antler projects, and plastics. Please feel free to contact me for whatever reason to discuss custom orders or if you have any kind of feedback.
Here is a list of materials I turn on a regular basis.
Honey Mesquite, Deer Antler (Whitetail,Axis, Elk, Moose), Texas Ebony, Texas Cherry, Texas Walnut, Texas Ash, Texas Sycamore, Huisache, Texas Pecan, Texas Hickory, Red Bud, Bodark (Osage Orange), and East Texas Ironwood (Eastern Hop Hornbeam).
If you have a certain type of material you would like for me to turn into a pen, or other accessory, I would be glad to start a project as long as the material is stable enough to create a woodturning project. If you have antler in your possession that you would like a pen to be made. Please contact me to ensure the dimensions are adequate enough to turn the project.
Please contact me for prices if you do not see something that catches your eye. Swamphouse Woodworking does its best to create a high quality product that will last for years.
