Providing Vocational Opportunities for White Swan Youth

Basic job skills and financial literacy are nearly non-existent among the Yakama Nation's youth in White Swan, WA. Unfortunately, examples of working, financially stable adults are not commonly found in this area. Swan Graphics is an economic development enterprise, raised up by Sacred Road Ministries, to train youth in life, job and vocational skills. We strive to present them with skills to prepare for a brighter, more stable future.

By ordering products from Swan Graphics, you are providing unique opportunities for youth in White Swan to break free of the poverty and the hopelessness that have plagued this area for generations. Your support illustrates, in a real way, to these students that there is another way of life - one of hope and freedom. All proceeds from sales go back into the program, including providing a fair hourly wage for youth participants.

The Swan Graphics program gives instruction in successful life and financial strategies and provides stable relationships with a community of positive, Christ-centered role models.

    D'Armon is a 2018 graduate from White Swan High School. D'Armon has mastered the darkroom and prints most of the shirts at Swan Graphics. He has printed over 5,000 t-shirts!

    Yesenia is a senior at White Swan high school. Yesenia keeps Swan Graphics running efficiently. She is multitalented in printing, organizing the office, and managing the Swan Graphics website.

    Tionna is a 2015 graduate of White Swan High School. Tionna is a designer at Swan Graphics and is currently mastering Photoshop. She is a very talented makeup artist as well!

    Nelson is a 2018 graduate from White Swan High School. Nelson is the Swan Graphics handyman and also is the "Darkroom Master." He loves Dr. Pepper!

    Ty is a senior at White Swan High School. Ty is very creative as one of the designers for Swan Graphics. He enjoys drawing and is currently mastering Photoshop.

    Kayawna is a junior at White Swan High School. She is very detailed, which makes her an expert at embroidery at Swan Graphics. Her dream job after Swan Graphics is to work at a Day Care.

    Leslie is well-known in the White Swan community for her sewing and embroidery talent. Swan Graphics is so proud to have her on our team as our embroidery expert! Leslie is a wonderful mother and a diligent worker.

    Joel is a graduate of Sherman Indian High School. He is a designer at Swan Graphics and is currently mastering Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

    Susie is the Customer Service representative of Swan Graphics. From contacting clients to making lunch for the employees every day, Susie stays very busy! She fills the role of a staff mom with her love and care for employees.

    Darren is the Director of Economic Development with Sacred Road Ministries. Darren opened Swan Graphics in 2017 and has enjoyed learning the art of screen printing while investing in the lives of Swan Graphics employees.
