This was a wonderful find. My mother had one in the 1950's and it was lost in a move. She was so happy to find this. Thank you!

About

One sentence would never cover the adventure my life has been as an Antique Dealer.

Oh My, where do I begin? Is it the exposure of the historical area where I lived and grew up, in this beautiful town where the Shakers had their community? Perhaps that added to it, but my Dear Sweet Aunt who was a known Antique dealer in Massachusetts took me under her wing, when I was a young woman. She taught me, nurtured my thirst for knowledge, and took me to Auctions where you could still purchase wonderful things, always the teacher in this process.
This will be the 48th year that my Husband of 53 years and I have been business partners in this journey. We were known as fine country furniture and art dealers, in the Northern N.J. and NY. area. We have, in those years, been active in most phases of this business., including open shops, 40 shows a year, show management and promotion, appraisals and estate sales.
We are semi-retired now. The trends for buying and selling have changed somewhat for us, but we still love the hunt, after all most antique dealers are collectors as well. We don't buy as much now, but when we travel are always looking for new sources. We pride ourselves for always maintaining a business of integrity. When I joined etsy as a seller, I changed my business name and became a general line dealer. I joined the etsy Vintage team and follow the creed of the team, selling with truth, honesty, and integrity.
This has been an adventure and a life journey of learning and loving about the things from our past

Additional policies and FAQs
Recently I have been asked to put "Reserves" on items, but then never hear from the prospective buyer again. This is both frustrating and counter productive to me as a seller. I am very willing to accommodate buyers with reserves, but please contact me within 1 day with your final decision. Prompt communication can help us both.
