It all started many years ago - making cakes for friends and family when I was in high school and college. In 2009, after several years of teaching, I decided to quit my job to stay home with my children. I wondered how I could make my own hours doing something I enjoyed, while using my art degree. I knew that I had painted on fondant on the cakes that I made, so I began attaching the painted fondant onto cookies! Then I dove into making my own royal icing and creating 3D royal icing butterflies and decorated cookies for my daughter's first birthday cake. I was hooked. I would often go to sleep dreaming of cookie designs that I could create.

This was right before the craze that took the cookie world by storm. I was part of an original group whose names you'd probably recognize! We learned from each other and made cookie headlines for group projects we worked on. It was so much fun!

I had people telling me I could sell my edible art, so I took the plunge! I've carefully crafted, assembled, and tweaked all of my cookie and icing recipes, and after 12 years of selling my own decorated cookies, I'm now making my ORIGINAL, signature recipes available for you to make and enjoy.
