Updates

Rocking the limited edition coffee pin on my jean jacket today! Such a fashionista... but for real, this gives me so much joy.
I've been working hard on a few new custom stamps for you this holiday season. These would be great for holiday cards, invitations, address labels/stickers, everyday mail... You get the idea! It's just great because you can use it over and over again.

About

Hi! I'm Molly & this is SPS.

WHO AM I?

Hi, I'm Molly! Allow me to introduce myself to you. I’m currently entering my 3rd decade of life with my husband, Mark, and our full house of cats & dogs (meet them over on the right sidebar). I graduated from college with a degree in Graphic Design & transitioned into a full time job shortly after. Currently, I still work for this same marketing company (ahem, just celebrated my 8th anniversary there - they weren’t kidding when they say time flies!).

MY STORY

I’ve been dreaming of opening an Etsy shop for years. I used to visit Etsy and look at other shops, brainstorming about what in the world I had to offer to customers out there. A few years ago, my best friend got married & asked me to design a few invites for her. This got my wheels turning and I realized that that’s exactly what I could offer to others out there. I would make affordable, beautiful wedding designs in PDF format. As Oprah would say, that was my “Ah-ha!” moment. Like so many others out there, I was scared….and intimidated… and clueless about starting my own Etsy shop. Once I married Mark, our student loan debt was overwhelming to me. How are people supposed to pay these off in any decent amount of time? And finally I had my motivation to start my shop: $$$$ to help pay off debt. It wasn’t long after that when SPS was born. If anyone out there is reading this and they are debating whether they should open a shop of their own or not, please listen to me when I say, “DO IT, Do it NOW!”. This has been the best experience - with all of it’s ups and downs. I’ve learned so much about myself & the confidence I have in my work has grown exponentially.

WHAT DOES SPS REPRESENT?

Clean, affordable, beautiful, earth-friendly designs. I want these designs to be great for all of the big moments in life but also celebrate the small moments. I want to do something GOOD - like really really good for people out there. SPS has donated items to benefit auctions & 100's of dollars to the Red Cross after national disasters.

EARTH-FRIENDLY

All of the papers I use are recycled in some way or another, some more than others. It’s so important to me to offer this element to my customers. Recycled paper is beautiful & you can feel great about your purchase knowing you’re supporting something very important.
