What I don t like is the stone is not like pic thought it d be more white like opal should be. Not entirely satisfied the band is more silver fake looking instead of rustic in pic. A new ring and I won t pursue any further
Hello, My name is Bethany, and I am a Hoarder.
I have always been mesmerized by beauty of the world around me-just ask my mother who had to throw out drawers and drawers of the "special rocks" and leaves I continuously gathered throughout my childhood. This was either a clear sign of my artistic nature or that I was born with a compulsive hoarding problem. The jury is still out on that one. :) When I was a little older and had an appreciation for the kind of rocks that sparkle on your finger, making jewelry seemed to be a natural extension of my creativity.
The first necklace I made at the beginning of my jewelry making career was, of course, to match an outfit I was going to wear to a party. Necessity is the mother of Invention, after all. Beyond just making jewelry, the idea of owning my own creative business was incredibly appealing. So naturally, I dove in head first.
After starting with mostly beading and wire work, I expanded my jewelry making repertoire to include metalwork. Learning the art of metalsmithing has been an invigorating, liberating, frustrating, infuriating, and yet worthwhile endeavor. It's an incredible feeling to turn the ideas swirling around in my head into a tangible reality, with simple sheets of metal, coils of wire, stone.
So, now, from start to finish, sale to delivery, I run Sweet Sincerity Jewelry. I sell mainly here on Etsy, but also locally in different shops. I am continuously looking for ways to expand and improve my skills in business and in jewelry making. This is what I love doing, and every time you purchase something you love from my shop, you help me continue to do it. The gratitude I feel is overshadowed only by my excitement that someone else sees and appreciates the beauty of my grown-up version of "special rocks."
Owner, Designer, Creator
Sweet Sincerity Jewelry is the brain child of Bethany Coulombe, a quirky, friendly human being, who has known since she was a child that being an artist was her true calling, second only to her calling to be The World's Best Auntie.
