Welcome! I love Victorian clothing and hope you will love my Victorian reproduction dresses as much as I enjoy making them! These beautiful, detailed items are perfect for re-enacting, Steampunk, SASS, Red Hat Ladies, Dickens Festival, Halloween and other historically themed events. However, my dresses are NOT cheaply made "costumes". I put a lot of love into my work - they are real, quality-made dresses with exceptional detail, that are sewn to last for many years of use. All seams are finished to prevent raveling; I use French seaming wherever possible. I flat-line as well as bag-line where needed for appearance, stability and shape. All boning is flat steel or sprung steel boning. (If it is an important criteria for you, please be aware that dress construction methods are not 100% "period correct", although they are close) Millinery is constructed from the ground up using handmade buckram and wire frames, and all fabric and ornamentation is hand-sewn onto the frame, using no hot glue.

I love to design a little something different or try something new on each item I sew. I make very few exact duplicates: most dresses and hats are one of a kind creations.

All of the items in my shop are made by me in a smoke-free home. I do have pets, so please be aware of this before ordering; however I take great care to make sure my items come to you in clean, new condition.

CARE FOR SWEET TROUBLE DRESSES AND MILLINERY:
Due to the mix of fabrics and trims on these gorgeous gowns, professional cleaning is highly recommended.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Other Method
Payment
I accept PayPal for all transactions. If payment is not completed and I have not heard from you within 3 days of purchase I will consider it a canceled transaction. If you have a special situation just keep in contact with me so I don't re-list your item.

UT residents must pay sales tax. This will be added through Paypal.
Shipping
ALL USA ORDERS WELCOME. I will consider international shipping on a case by case basis, please inquire BEFORE ordering as often international ship rates can be expensive.

I ship to the address you provide via PayPal. Please be sure your Etsy and PayPal addresses match.

Items will be shipped 1-3 days after I have been notified of receipt of payment by PayPal. If you use a PayPal e-check then I must wait for payment to clear before shipping. This usually takes 4-7 days. I usually ship via USPS Flat Rate Box with delivery confirmation within the U.S. All orders over $100 will be insured. Let me know at the time of purchase if you want to use expedited shipping and I will quote you a shipping rate.
Refunds and Exchanges
I hope that you are completely thrilled with your purchase but please contact me if there is a problem. The items I list are ready-to-wear, and ready to ship, so the photos you see are the actual item in each listing. I make every effort to describe my items accurately; please ask questions and read carefully as the features of each item are clearly identified and vary for each item. If you are unclear on the features of any item, I’m happy to send more photos or information prior to purchase.

All sales are final on hats. I do not normally accept returns on clothing; however, I will offer refunds on a case-by-case basis - you must contact me prior to a return and the item must be returned in unworn, sellable condition. Items to be returned must be postmarked within 5 days of receipt and mailed back in the same or comparable packaging. Worn, soiled, torn or otherwise damaged items may not be returned.

Refunds on returns do NOT include shipping costs - all shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will NOT be refunded.
