Sweetbriers is now a family operation!
That's right, Mom (Syble), is a co-conspirator here in the trenches. A true hippie, she is the long standing queen of upcycling and boho hippie clothing styles. She taught me everything I know about sewing (well...maybe not "everything") . She has been sewing and crocheting for (she won't let me say how many years), so we'll just say "a while now." She owned/operated her own bridal and alterations shop back in the day. She’s done more than one dance around the festival and art show venues. Most recently she retired from her position at a nearby university.

Then there’s me, Rebekah
I started out as a fiber artist, I was a weaver (lots of fun, very little funds), taught classes, did the festivals, art shows, even worked it into co-owning a small local shop.
Time passes, life happens, paths change.
I found myself working in an office, (I know, right) but there I was with a "real" job.
One day a friend introduced me to this new website where artists and craftspeople were selling handmade works - great idea! I'll look into that, distracted ( look...a bird!) I went on to other things.
Then later I came across an old unfinished project and thought “at least finish this” the next thing I knew I was crocheting and sewing again
and crocheting
and sewing
and....
that’s when I remembered that site, you know the one,
what was it called... the one with the funny name and all the handmade stuff…
ETSY! that's it!
8 years later (Time passes, life happens)
to be continued (hopefully)....

Layaway is available and easy to do

1. Contact me and let me know the item or items you would like to purchase. Together you and I will arrange a payment plan to fit your budget.

2. Checkout with your purchase and select "other" as payment option.

3. You will receive a Paypal invoice for the down payment. Down payment must be received thru Paypal within 3 days or items will be returned to available listings.

4. At each prearranged payment interval you will receive a Paypal invoice for the payment due.
