Hello and welcome to THEATOMICBRUSH Etsy storefront!
My name is Ian Chase, I am a San Francisco based Illustrator and here you will find some of my latest work on ready to hang prints for your wall art needs! Illustration has taken me down many unexpected paths over the years, I've had the good fortune to work for Disney/Pixar, had artwork shown on The Simpsons and have the chance to work on some truly amazing projects. For more than a decade now I have been working mainly as a freelance storyboard artist and the artwork here represents a slice the personal projects I keep going on the side when time permits. Many of the designs seen here were created for use as animation backgrounds or keyframes in a sequence and some were just done for the fun of it. I draw inspiration from many sources, I hold a great appreciation for the bold, abstract minimalism found in space age modernism as well as cartoon art. I try my best to bring those qualities into my designs and my hope is that these are as enjoyable to look at as they have been to create.
