I was very pleased with these little sachets and the samples that came with them. They have a wildness to them that I find so nourishing, especially now, and the scents that came with them were equally interesting. My favorite was Juniper: it comes as close to the scent of sun-warmed juniper resin as anything I've yet found, and I have ordered a larger bottle of it. Cedar was a close second, very smoky and intense, deeply grounding and comforting. I was not as fond of the Sageness, not that it didn't smell great, but rather that I felt the non-sage elements overwhelmed the sage itself (I love the pungent astringency of desert sage). Carol also included a sample of Sweet Hay + Tobacco which I also fell in love with...and ordered a tin of the solid. I look forward to more of these refreshingly nonordinary scents.

Interior and Exterior Explorations...
My primary approach to art making is reciprocity. I think that's true of many artists. It is the exchange of ideas, materials, and history that, layered upon a broader metaphorical landscape, informs us of who we are as artists and people, and where and how we choose to journey forth on our creative sojourn. Travel well.
