This item was absolutely exquisite. Unfortunately, through no fault of the seller, it did not fit me and I am having to return it. Carol has been nothing but helpful and generous throughout the process. A SIX star seller, and artist.

By its nature, true wabi sabi is an elusive concept, especially to capture in words. That's why we make art, and these earrings embody the wabi aesthetic beautifully. They have an unconventional simplicity, suggesting a natural process of becoming/unbecoming. The opal beads are rendered subtle and unassuming by their rough-hewn shapes and matte surfaces. They truly do seem to be made out of lichen! And they are extremely comfortable and lightweight. Thank you again.
Interior and Exterior Explorations...
My primary approach to art making is reciprocity. I think that's true of many artists. It is the exchange of ideas, materials, and history that, layered upon a broader metaphorical landscape, informs us of who we are as artists and people, and where and how we choose to journey forth on our creative sojourn. Travel well.

Frequently asked questions
I use standard US accepted sizing as a guide, but because my work is often asymmetrical throughout, this may vary garment to garment. I will do my best to provide dependable details (bust, waist, hip, length, materials) for ready to ship pieces, but by nature of buying "off the rack" so to speak, I ask that the buyer read my descriptions thoroughly and communicate with me any questions or concerns around fit before actually purchasing a construction. Sharing your input is always welcome as reciprocity is how things get done well, and how maker and buyer both benefit from resulting intentions. As a reminder, please carefully read descriptive details specific to each listing.
Each listing will provide instructions regarding care and management.
